FENTON TROPHY

The first league cup action of the season took place on Saturday and it saw Division One's UK Moldova edge through into the second round with a narrow 2-1 win over Division Three's Upminster Albion. Dan Zamsa and Gheorghe Bria both scored for Moldova with Jack Cornhill scoring the Albion consolation.

SENIOR DIVISION

The Senior action continued on Friday night where Ongar Town's fine start to the season continued at Wodson Park where they earned a 3-1 win over previously unbeaten Greengate District. Ruben Silva scored for the visitors but Town goals from Ethan Hook, William Lockett and Jack Walden were enough for three points.

That scoreline theme continued in both of Friday's other fixtures including at Parsloes Park where Ryan came from a goal down to net themselves a 3-1 win away at Sporting Bengal United Reserves as Suhayb Aftab's brace and Ayibakuro Kwomo's goals overcame a Darnell Fuller strike.

Over at Coles Park, the north London derby also ended in a 3-1 scoreline where Kulture's improvement in form saw them rack up another three points as Jonah Sarpong's brace and a Landry Gogoa effort saw their side record the win over Haringey Borough Reserves, despite am Abdul Bangura goal for the hosts.

FC Petrocub remain the league leaders after Saturday's fixtures, making it six wins on the spin following a 2-0 home success against winless Frenford Development at Noak Hill. A goal apiece from Igor Boiciuc and Gheorghe Cucos proved enough in the end for the leaders.

Moving into third spot were Saint City who came through a tough first home outing with a narrow 3-2 win under their belts, recording victory over Dagenham United. Tajean Lewis's brace for United wasn't quite enough on the day as Kenneth Obananaya scored two and Dawid Potoczek added the other for CIty.

There was also a win for CSM London at The Foundry where two goals off the bench from Seun Oyelaja and one each from Junior Milla and Ifeanyi Umeh proved too much for Waltham Forest Borough in a 4-2 scoreline, Mustafa Hussein and Andrew Rowe scoring the latter's goals.

Over at The Drive, it was a win for Woodford Town Under 23s who earned all three points in a 3-1 away victory over Chadwell Heath Spartans, Town's first of the season. St Hill, Bangura and Alexzander-Roberts were all on the scoresheet with Brandon Johnson scoring the Spartans effort.

PREMIER DIVISION EAST

Two unbeaten sides share the Premier Division East lead after the weekend's results, Bealonians topping the table after a 2-0 away victory against AS Rapid Londra at Lakeside with Daniel Armstrong and Joseph Jones scoring the all important goals there.

It's an unbeaten start for Kit Out London also who, after three games, also have seven points courtesy of a hard fought 2-1 win at Westlands over Romford Town Flyers. Nicholas Evangelou and Charles Ariwa both netted for the visitors to hand their side the victory.

Sitting in third are Manford Way Reserves who, with a game in hand over both sides above, trail by just a point as they racked up a second win in succession, producing a 3-1 home win over Old Barkabbeyans at Fairlop Oak. Mohamed Hassan scored the Barks goal off the bench but that wasn't quite enough in the end.

Inter Newbury produced their first win of the new season, scoring five against Something From Nothing in an eventual 5-2 win at Parsloes Park. Fuad Ibrahim scored a hat-trick, Muhammed Seif and Halameen Agbaje with the others to make it three points for the hosts.

Also earning a first win were Condor following their promotion, earning their first three points in the second tier after a 3-1 away victory against Motormen in Hainault, a result which lifts them up into ninth place in the standings after two games so far.

There was a five-goal thriller at Myrak Park where Buckhurst Hill Under 23s were edged out in the end by Athletic Newham Under 23s. Luke Hooper and Jason Balde scored for Hill but Newham goals in reply from Gago Banak, Dayson Rosa and Ouail Akrirout meant it was Newham finishing 3-2 winners.

PREMIER DIVISION WEST

It's Unitey heading the table in the West division after three winning performances so far this season, aided in no small part by Ahmed Dousa's six-goal haul on Saturday in an 8-1 home victory over Stratford East in Loughton. Muamar Osman and Mubarak Mohammed scored the other goals to make it three from three.

Two further sides hold perfect records, beginning with FC Baresi Reserves who have two victories to their name already this term, their second a 2-1 home victory at the weekend over West Essex Reserves. Angel Angelov and Joshua Rowland grabbed those all important goals to confirm the victory.

Also with two wins from two are Sporting Hackney who have made a good start to the new season as they seek an immediate return to the top flight, netting themselves the only goal of a close game at Douglas Eyre, the Parrots ending 1-0 winners over North East Lions.

There was a high scoring game in Barkingside where London Cranes led at the break over Newham Wanderers only for the latter to fight back and take all three points in a 6-4 win, courtesy of goals from Muhammed Camara, Emmanuel Chukwumah, Jamil Gaawo, Robertson Morais, Umar Zeb and Henrique Mendes.

At Peter May, Ocean Pacific earned a first win of the season at the third attempt, beating local rivals Onyx in a 3-1 scoreline. Amari Knox-Hooke had struck for an Onyx side seeking a second successive win but it was Ocean who took the points in the end.

DIVISION ONE EAST

It's three wins on the bounce for Loughton Town who lead the way in Division One East, their third victory of the campaign coming as they scored the game's only goal against Old Parkonians A in Barkingside. Will Osmond was the scorer of that all important goal to make it nine points for the visitors.

Redbridge Community sit in second place with seven points and unbeaten as Cuba Gill extended his scoring record with a hat-trick on Saturday in a 5-0 away victory over Romford Town Flyers Reserves, Henry Asare and Alex Ardelean adding the others to the scoresheet.

With two wins from two, Royal Forest have made a great start and they had the biggest victory in the division after coming away 7-0 winners against Dagenham United Reserves. Remi Green scored three with Leigham Stone, Tommy Ainsworth, Daniel Thompson and Fifi Banin contributing the others.

Sitting fifth in the table are Bealonians Reserves who bounced back from defeat last time out to secure a second win of the season, defeating Old Barkabbeyans Reserves 4-2. Toby Kellar's brace led the way, Ashley Webster and Max Robson adding the others while Shola Shonibare and Mitchell Day struck for the hosts in consolation.

Lymore Gardens Reserves earned their first win of year, scoring all three goals in the Parsloes derby clash with Chadwell Heath Spartans Reserves. A 3-0 win saw them shift up above their opponents and into sixth place in the standings.

DIVISION ONE WEST

Changing Lives sit a couple of points clear at the top in the West, coming through a close game with Hackney Wanderers in Walthamstow by the odd goal. Agoro Fuad was the hero once again, scoring all three goals in a 3-2 win with Gary Tighe and Ryan Lewis efforts having kept Wanderers well involved in the contest.

Parsonage Leys sit second in the table on four points, picking up a point on the road with a 1-1 draw against unbeaten, third placed Saint City Reserves. Jake Turner struck for Leys with Cartel Emmanuel the scorer of the City goal in East Ham.

There was an eleven-goal thriller as SP United and Tajik Unity combined in a game which ended up 6-5 winners to the latter. Richard Arhin's brace plus goals from Aidas Jasikevicius and Luca Jeffries for SP were cancelled out by an Ikhtiyorbek Khasanboev hat-trick, two from Muhamadziyo Karimov and one from Vali Mirzorahmatov for Tajik.

In the day's early kick-off it was two sides kicking off their first games of the season down at Lakeside where London Park City were the visitors to face a Get Rich Together side. It was an eventual 2-0 win for City who made it an opening win as they seek a return to the second tier.

Also winners in their first match of the new season were Leyton City who were up against Newbury Forest Reserves on Saturday, a game which produced six goals with City edging it 4-2. Borja Quan scored two, Awal Lawal and Sterlange Nzeza with the others to help City confirm three points.

DIVISION TWO

Iona Wheels continue to lead the way in Division Two, adding another win to their record following a successful trip to Hainault on Saturday, beating Eastside Foundation in a 5-3 scoreline. Lewis Deacon scored two, Kai Geere, Elliot Hastings and Joshua Gibbins with the others.

Sitting just behind in second place are CSM London Under 23s who produced a winning performance in Beckton, beating Freetown 4-1. Ikromjon Kamoliddinov scored twice on his debutn with Jahim Stapleton-Payne and Ahmed Sylla adding the others.

Unbeaten Glendale came from behind to net all three points as London Academics raced into a two goal half-time lead at Fairlop Oak before Braulio Costa's brace and an Emmanuel Ejembi goal in between those confirmed a 3-2 Dales win and a first win.

Also sitting unbeaten and in third spot are Kulture Reserves who were in home action with the visit of Lymore Gardens Under 23s on Saturday. The game ended in a 2-2 draw by full-time as the teams settled for a share of the spoils.

There was a first win of the season for London East who entertained a Thurrock Thameside outfit at Fairlop Oak with both sides starting the day winless. The sides produced a six-goal contest between them with East the side leaving the happier after netting a 4-2 victory.

DIVISION THREE

It's Romford Town Flyers A who lead the way at the top of Division Three as they made it two wins from two following a 3-1 away victory against Cobra at Parsloes Park. Luke Joy netted for the hosts but that proved not quite enough as Dylan Thorn, Alfie Sasse and Davey Enever goals took Flyers to the win.

Also at Parsloes Park, Old Parkonians B racked up their second league win of the campaign after an away victory over Jays in Dagenham. Parks were 4-2 winners as Vladimirs Kalinins, Victor Adefarakan, Vilius Dambrauskas and Ali Hassan goals seperated the sides, Harrison Happe-Heatley and Thomas Shaw netting in consolation.
