SENIOR DIVISION

The Week 5 action got underway on Friday evening where Parsloes Park saw the unbeaten league leaders, CSM London, in action as the visitors to co-tenants Philip United. Ramiz Mahmood and Luke Sinnott-Thomas both got on the scoresheet for the visitors and weathered the Philip fightback in the second half to hang to a 2-1 winning scoreline, their fifth win this term.

On Saturday afternoon, Woodford Town Reserves took advantage of results around them to move into second place in the table as they completed a comprehensive home win at Ashton Playing Fields against Bakers693, winning 12-0. Albert James' hat-trick and braces from Louie Cooper, Phorell Brooke and Remarle Lawrence led the way for Town while Jacob Richards, Arthur Massingham and Michael Alfred netted too.

Also sitting on thirteen points, one of four clubs, are Ongar Town who made the trip to The Drive on Saturday to face an unbeaten Frenford Development side who have made a decent start themselves. A closely fought game however saw Ongar take the spoils, winning 2-1 through goals from Scout Bown and Ebenezer Fasoranti. Damilola Olaiya was on target with the Frenford goal in reply, his side slipping to a first defeat of the season.

Another side in "Club Thirteen" are Lymore Gardens who had a tricky looking trip to Noak Hill on Saturday to face  a FC Petrocub keen on improving their start. A couple of Wisley Baltazar goals for Lymore plus efforts from Gaston Mendy and Gravlyn-Boss Kitondo were enough to secure the points in a 4-2 win, rendering home goals from Vitalii Chiriac and Gheorge Cucos as just consolation.

Sitting a couple of points further back are Kulture who are sitting sixth after their first six games at this level, their most recent fixture in Chigwell seeing take on a Sporting Hackney side keen to pick up some more points. A couple of Mohamed Aboubakar goals were the difference between the teams as his strikes handed the hosts a 2-0 win and all three points.

Over in Ilford, Chadwell Heath Spartans were up against a Waltham Forest Borough side on Saturday with the hosts holding a three point lead between the sides going into the fixture. But that was extended to six by full-time as Spartans ran out 5-2 winners from the game. Peter Adeleye's double and singles from Billy Gipp, Ryan O'Connell and Thomas Callagher were enough, despite Erol Hassan and Shomari Barnwell netting for Borough.

The first game of the season at Fairlop Oak saw newly promoted Fairlop Rovers in action with a home game against AS Rapid Londra. With both sides having just one win to date, this was an important game, but Rovers will be the side walking away the happier, a 4-0 outcome as Logan Simmonds scored twice and one each from Aodan Downer and Danyal Arshad.

Completing the weekend's top flight action, at Wadham Lodge, Haringey Borough Under 23s made the short journey around the A406 to take on Walthamstow Reserves. A five-goal thriller saw the sides well matched but it was Borough who walked away with the points in a 3-2 win. Stephane Mgbada, Akiljo Balliu and Albie Tyler scored the Borough goals with Rashid Kabia and Issa Sidibe netting in reply for Stow.

PREMIER DIVISION EAST

Redbridge Community sit top of the standings in Premier Division East after a pair of wins in the opening weeks of the season. Their latest efforts saw them record an away success after beating Soul Tower Hamlets Reserves in a 3-1 scoreline at Fairlop Oak, the hosts remaining in search of their first points after two games of the campaign.

Over at Westlands, another side with two wins from two so far are Romford Town Flyers who followed up their opening day win with another this weekend against FC Baresi Reserves, coming away 2-1 winners through a goal each from Kofi Broni and Oluwatimilehin Adekola. Ronnie Karayianni struck off the bench for the visitors but that effort proved in vain.

It's maximum points for Waltham Abbey A also in the East division as they doubled their wins tally for the season on Saturday with a narrow away win against Kit Out London at Parsloes Park. It was just a single goal that seperated the two sides, that going the way of the Abbotts who took home the points in a 1-0 win in Dagenham.

After an opening day draw last weekend, it was a first winning afternoon for Barkingside Reserves who took maximum points in the Parsloes derby against Inter Newbury, walking away 3-0 winners on the day, a result which sees them climb up into fourth place in the table.

There was a bounceback performance from Motormen who opened their points account for the season on Saturday following a strong home winning performance at Fairlop Oak, beating co-tenants Something From Nothing in a 4-2 scoreline. Roy Stevens was the hero with a hat-trick, Niccolo Marcolini netting the other to earn their first three points.

Over at Noak Hill in the early kick off, Dagenham United were the visitors to take on Greengate District with both starting the day unbeaten after opening day draws. It was Dagenham who left the game victorious however, earning three points in a 2-1 win with Cain Dash and Halameen Adbaje netting the goals that secured their first win of the season.

PREMIER DIVISION WEST

It's predictably tight at the top after two weeks of the season in the West division where London Cranes sit top by a goal after their opening 5-1 win of the season, taking all three points against London Park City. Wyclef Kayonjo scored a hat-trick for the visitors, Moses Kazibwe and Hakim Kolo goals rounding off a comprehensive first victory for their side.

Newham Wanderers hold third place on alphabetical order as their opening game of the season saw them taking on last season's high-flying Unitey at Parsloes Park. Ahmed Dousa, Muhammed Camara and Jai Perkins all scored for the visitors but Newham brace for Manuel Sanuo and strikes from Abdul Cardoso, Robertson Morais and Saddik Azizur made the final scoreline 5-3 to their side.

League new boys, Vallance, started their first season with the league in a positive fashion with an opening game victory at Fords against Stratford East. Joseph-Rene Opoku had struck two for East and Garvey Tulloch-Jordan once but those were not enough in the end as Vallance scored five goals of their own to win the game 5-3 in the end.

Moving up into sixth place in the table are North East Lions who reversed their opening game fortunes to take three points this time out, City of Westminster the side they were facing at the Marshes. Nnamdi Efobi, Mikael Martin and James Codling all found the back of the net for Lions to win the game 3-0 and take away the points from the contest.

Over in Newbury Park, there was a first outing of the season for Sporting Bengal United Reserves who began their season in a positive fashion, the new boys up against newly promoted Saint City in the game. It ended 2-0 in favour of the hosts as Abid Haque and Ouail Akrirout both got on the scoresheet for Sporting to complete a first win of the season.

DIVISION ONE

In Division One, it's Ocean Pacific making all the early waves at the top of the table with another high-scoring victory which continued their perfect start to the season against Old Barkabbeyans. Ocean were 5-2 winners in the game, despite visitors goals from Christopher Plummer and Michael Ryder. Braces from Alan Argenal and Darwin Orozco turned the tide with Diego Loyola scoring the other.

Also with a pair of wins from their first two games are Old Esthameians who followed up their week one victory with a comfortable looking win in Newbury Park against new boys, FC Alpha. It was a 4-0 scoreline in the end to take E's points tally to six while Alpha sit in seventh place with a point from their first two games.

Third placed Leyton City are another of the division's unbeaten sides and they were visited by Freetown on Saturday in Walthamstow, City starting the day just a point ahead of the 'Town. But a 2-0 scoreline for the hosts, aided by Sterlange Nzeza's double, gave City the win and took their points tally up to four for the campaign.

After the disappointment of defeat last time out, it was a winning Saturday this weekend for Loughton Town who took maximum points from their home clash with Lymore Gardens Under 23s at Langston Road. The Osmonds were again in scoring form, Tom Osmond's hat-trick the difference on the day, Will Osmond netting the other as Town won 4-1.

Over at Wadham Lodge, West Essex Reserves' first game of the season saw them up against another new side to the league, Condor making their switch across from Sunday football. It was the visitors who started in the more impressive form, Condor winning the game 2-0 to net their maiden win in Saturday football.

DIVISION TWO

In Division Two, it's Royal Forest who are setting the early pace at the top following two wins from two in the league so far, their latest victory seeing them take away all three points against Old Barkabbeyans Reserves at South Park Drive. Callum Everitt, Stanley Kweya and Barry Fuschillo all scored for the visitors to double their points tally so far to six.

Sitting in second place in the standings are Old Parkonians A who celebrated their elevation into the fourth tier with an opening day win, defeating Ongar Town Reserves in a 3-0 scoreline at Oakfields. Charlie Fiander's brace laid the marker and Shane Hovell struck with the other goal to complete the win.

Chadwell Heath Spartans Reserves sit third in the table as they bounced back from their opening defeat to earn a big win at Parsonage Leys, Spartans returning home from Harlow with a 4-1 win under their belts. Owen Rami scored twice off the bench with Abraham Ladoja and Jaiden Buntin goals completing the victory that moves them up the table.

There was a first win of the new season for newly formed CSM London Under 23s who kicked off their campaign in winning fashion, earning a 4-2 win against Haringey United at Hackney Marshes. Leon Bodkin and Rasharn Campbell both netted for United but two Adebayo Adeyemi strikes off the bench for CSM, plus goals from Byron Opeodu and Kaedan Azam turned the game in their sides' favour.

The division's remaining game came from Robert Clack where Dagenham United Reserves and Glendale went head to head with both sides in search of their first wins. Wesley Antonio and Emmanuel Ejembi goals gave Glendale a 2-0 lead before late Dagenham goals from Charlie Landers and Darren Korang earned a point in a 2-2 draw.

DIVISION THREE

There were goals aplenty at Lakeside on Saturday where hosts Jays were up against Buckhurst Way. After an opening day draw, it was a win this time around for Way who took home the points in an 8-4 success. Archie Jenkins scored a hat-trick, Liam Wallis and Dolapo Gbadamosi scored two and Vandyke Dapaah one for the visitors while Liam Greaves' hat-trick for Jays went unrewarded, Leo Milazzo scoring the other.

The other win from the division was earned by Chingford Harriers who bounced back well from their big win last weekend to take all three points this time, beating Just Play in a narrow 1-0 win. Regan Marshall struck with the game's only goal, a result which moved Harriers up into sixth spot while Just Play slip into fifth after their first defeat so far.

Romford Town Flyers Reserves remain the division's leaders on goal difference, adding another point to the three they picked up last weekend, earning a share of the spoils with London Academics at Hackney Marshes. Peter Brinton-Quinn scored for Flyers while Ian Marques-Tavares' effort for the hosts ensured they took a second point in a 1-1 draw.

That same scoreline was reflected in the last game of the day which came from Parsloes Park as both Cobra and Redbridge Community Reserves earned a point after opening defeats, the game ending 1-1 to take a point each from the game. Todd Bolger scored the hosts' goal but that effort was levelled by the visitors by full-time.
