DIVISION THREE CUP FINAL

It was an enthralling Division Three Cup final on Saturday afternoon at Parkside where Buckhurst Way get into an early lead through Archie Jenkins and Tom Glattback goals. Aman Lynch-Stewart got one back for Jays before Callum Mutege’s leveller made it 2-2 and sent the match to a shootout. It was Jays who eventually prevailed, holding their nerve to win 4-3 and lift the trophy.

DIVISION TWO CUP FINAL

Saturday evening’s cup final action centred on the Division Two Cup where a single goal in the game during the first half from Iona Wheels’ Josh Gibbins was the defining moment in a closely fought clash with Chingford Harriers, Wheels rolling away 1-0 winners to confirm a league and cup double in the process.

PREMIER DIVISION EAST

In Premier Division East, Motormen ensured their status in the division after a solitary goal decided their clash with Inter Newbury at Oakside, Motormen scoring the game’s only goal in a 1-0 win which saw them move up into seventh place.

The division’s other contest came from Parsloes Park where Bealonians rattled up a big win to defeat Kit Out London 7-1. Daniel Armstrong scored a hat-trick, Daniel Mahoney netted two with Andrew Dukes and Rhys Clements striking the other goals.

PREMIER DIVISION WEST

The title remains on the line in Premier Division West where Newham Wanderers confirmed a big 6-0 win against Onyx to put them within touching distance of the silverware with Muhammed Camara, Emmanuel Chukwumah, Mussa Jamanca, Robertson Morais, Manuel Sanuo and Umar Zeb scoring the goals.

DIVISION ONE EAST

There were plenty of goals in Division One East where Old Parkonians A put themselves in a strong position for the runners-up spot with a 4-3 win over Chadwell Heath Spartans Reserves, helped by two Charlie Fiander goals and strikes from Harry Baptist and Sean Doyle.

That result was reflected in another of the games at Noak Hill where FC Alpha netted themselves a 4-3 win over Bealonians Reserves through a Serghei Scupoi hat-trick and Denis Musteata goal. Jazz Heath-Sawyers, Aaron Porter and Ashley Webster struck for Beals in reply.

Champions, Royal Forest, rounded off their league season with a big 5-1 over Lymore Gardens Reserves in Loughton to make it seventeen wins from an impressive campaign, ahead of their Division One Play Off fixture this coming weekend.
