SENIOR DIVISION CUP
The line-up for this season’s Senior Cup Final was confirmed on Tuesday evening as a single goal proved the difference between Saint City and CSM London where it was Euan Mutale’s effort for the latter that gave CSM a 1-0 victory and sent their side to Dagenham & Redbridge.
SENIOR DIVISION
On Wednesday evening, it was midweek action from Parsloes Park where Charlie Harper and Billy Barr goals for Fairlop Rovers meant they earnt another valuable point in a 2-2 draw against Chadwell Heath Spartans, Billy Gipp and Brandon Johnson scoring their goals.
The action then moved to Friday evening where Haringey Borough Reserves put another point on the board as they looked to avoid the drop, holding Waltham Forest Borough to a 1-1 draw with Conor Corrigan scoring for the visitors.
There were some big results on Saturday afternoon, particularly at the bottom end as Frenford Development’s late charge to survive saw them defeat Dagenham United 4-0 at Robert Clack with Khari Pobi scoring two and Teraun Davis one.
The biggest winners in the division were Fairlop Rovers who stay one place above the drop zone on goal difference after a 7-0 win at Kulture with Billy Barr netting four, Sonny Clarke, Jack Kibblewhite and Richard Arhin efforts making it a substantial win.
Over at Flanders, Sporting Bengal United Reserves produced one of their stronger performances of the season to net a vital 5-0 win over Saint City to keep them in touch with safety. Ezekiel Ertl struck two, Bilal Adegbite, Kiyan Davis-Thorpe and Reda El Ghaibouz notching the others.
In matters at the other end of the table, a dress rehearsal for the Fenton Cup Final saw Chadwell Heath Spartans hosting FC Petrocub London at The Drive where a Mykhailo Sadivnyk goal was just enough to give the visitors a 1-0 win and a stronghold on second place for now.
The remaining game came from The Foundry where CSM London were in action against Woodford Town Under 23 where goals from Cyril Pluche. Junior Milla and Ikromjon Kamoliddinov meant their side left 3-1 winners, despite Joel Oramadike’s effort for Town.
PREMIER DIVISION EAST
In the Premier Division, it was wins for all of the top sides as Old Barkabbeyans secure a 2-1 home win over Inter Newbury with a goal each from Michael Ryder and Yunus Mussa, keeping their side top of the tree.
Victory was also secured by second placed AS Rapid Londra who completed their league campaign with a 2-1 away win over Romford Town Flyers at Westlands where Andrei Boga was on target for both of their goals.
It was also three points for third placed Bealonians who secured a vital 2-0 win over Condor in Barkingside to keep their side in the race for promotion. Cornelius Wilton-Waddell and Andrew Dukes scored the goals for Beals in the win.
At Robert Clack, it was a win for Something From Nothing who kept alive their outside hopes of avoiding the drop after a 2-0 success against Motormen. Michael Barek was the difference between the sides, scoring both of the goals in the win.
The final game from the division saw the defences on top at Roding Lane where Buckhurst Hill Under 23s met Kit Out London in a battle between ninth and fourth spots. But neither side could breach the defences of the other meaning it was points shared in a 0-0 draw.
PREMIER DIVISION WEST
The goals were flowing in the West division where leaders, Vallance, dropped three points after a 3-0 home defeat against Sporting Hackney in a result which sees the Parrots climbing up into fourth spot in the table as a result.
That result placed greater importance on the fixture from Newbury Park where Newham Wanderers earned themselves another three points in a 2-0 victory over Old Esthameians with Jamil Gaawo netting both efforts.
It was a seven goal thriller in the game involving Unitey and West Essex Reserves from Loughton where the visitors, West, took the spoils in a 4-3 success, earning their team a tenth win of the season with two games to go.
There were six goals in the game from Douglas Eyre where Priory Park Rangers moved five points clear of safety with three games to go, netting a 6-0 win against London Cranes to confirm their own relegation from the division.
The division’s other fixture ended locked at 2-2 to see the points shared as FC Baresi Reserves and Ocean Pacific couldn’t be separated after ninety minutes. Avtandil Biliseishvili and Omar Farah scored for the hosts with Carlos Solis scoring both in reply for Ocean.
DIVISION ONE CUP
It was the first semi-final for the Division One Cup on Saturday with Chadwell Heath Spartans Reserves and FC Alpha meeting at Parsloes Park. It ended 2-2 in ninety minutes with Deren Kale and Jonathan Kazadi scoring for Spartans, Caganovschi Victor and Serghei Scupoi responding. It was Spartans who then held their nerve in the shootout to win that 4-3.
DIVISION ONE EAST
Royal Forest moved to within two points of the leaders with three games in hand over them following a narrow 4-3 win against Bealonians Reserves in Barkingside. Aaron Porter struck twice off the bench and Ashley Webster one for Beals but Forest edged it in the end.
Just across the lane, it was all three points for Old Parkonians A who scored six in their 6-1 win over Redbridge Community. Charlie Fiander was on top form, scoring four for his side with Burt Cardy and Shane Hovell notching the others.
DIVISION ONE WEST
In the West division, with promotion matters now all settled, there were just two games taking place, a five goal thriller saw Leyton City record all three points in a 3-2 win over Saint City Reserves. Joel Malundama, Sterlange Nzeza and Tony Mpwilu scored for City with Shahab Magala and Glory Bello netting for Saints.
Another close game saw a single goal separate the sides in the clash between Get Rich Together and Sich London where goals from both Mykola Krasnoslobodtsev and Serhii Hura meant it was the visitors leaving as 2-1 winners.
DIVISION TWO
It’s congratulations to Iona Wheels who secured the Division Two league title on Saturday after a 2-1 narrow victory against Kulture Reserves which took them over the line. Ross Cosson and Lewis Deacon goals proved enough, Seyed Arfaei scoring Kulture’s consolation. Congratulations to all at Iona for another successful campaign.
CSM London Under 23s push for the runners-up spot continues with momentum as they completed a 5-0 home success over Lymore Gardens Under 23s. Ikromjon Kamoliddinov scored four with Husainey Sankano adding the other for the team.
There were six goals shared in the remaining game from the division as Chingford Harriers ended 3-3 with London East at Peter May with Connor Bailey scoring two and Huan Ginn Oliver the other for Harriers taking home a point each.
DIVISION THREE
There were big results in Division Three, firstly as the leaders, Old Parkonians B, moved three points clear at the summit following a 4-0 win over Cobra. Reece Symons, Aaron Campbell, Daniel Louis and Billy Mason all struck in the win.
That result was made all the more important as Upminster Albion pulled off a victory at title chasing Buckhurst Way, 3-0 the winning scoreline. Oliver Cornwell was once again in the goals, his hat-trick the difference between the two teams.
