FENTON TROPHY

The second Fenton Trophy finalist was confirmed on Saturday after a close encounter between Old Parkonians A and Chadwell Heath Spartans Reserves which ended 1-1 through a Rowan Newland goal for Parks. Spartans then held their own in the shootout, winning that 4-3 to make their second ever final.

SENIOR DIVISION

A big week in the Senior Division started with a shock defeat on Tuesday evening at Parsloes Park where leaders, Philip United, fell to a big home defeat, losing 3-0 against cup finalists, Woodford Town Reserves, just their fifth defeat this term.

On Wednesday evening at Parsloes Park, it was the turn of Kulture who were taking on FC Petrocub London once again with time running out to beat the drop. Alex Awobimpe struck for the hosts but that wasn't enough in the end, Petrocub netting five themselves in a 5-1 win.

Petrocub were straight back into action on Friday night with a key clash away at second placed Lymore Gardens at Oakside. Nicolai Gutu and Ion Spinu were the evening's sole scorers as the visitors won 2-0 to dent Lymore's title challenge.

Fairlop Rovers have all but secured their Senior status with a hard fought 5-3 home win on Friday evening as they took on Ongar Town. Finlay Cook, Scout Bown and Mofi Tunde-Ojolowo struck for Town with Logan Simmonds' brace, Ellis Simmonds, Jayden Francis and Jean-Pierre Alexander striking for Rovers.

Not too far away, Bakers693 were up against Woodford Town Reserves at Parsloes Park looking to gain some momentum towards the end of a difficult season. But Woodford had different ideas and made it another 3-0 success, Arthur Massingham netting a hat-trick for his side.

On Saturday afternoon, Waltham Forest Borough produced an incredibly important win as they took on co-tenants CSM London at Parsloes Park. Deyonte Anthony, Shomari Barnwell and Andrew Rowe goals gave Borough a 3-1 win that puts in a strong position to beat the drop.

Kulture headed to Coles Park on Saturday knowing they needed to put in a strong performance against Haringey Borough Under 23s. A closely fought game ended in a 3-2 win for the hosts though as Zayshaun Asamoah scored two and Cheick Ibrahime one, Abdi Ali and Reon Reid netting in consolation for Kulture.

Sitting sixth are Chadwell Heath Spartans, the Fenton Cup finalists, who were up against relegated Sporting Hackney at the weekend at The Drive. Billy Gipp, Ryan O'Connell and Melvyn Nketia were all on the scoresheet for Spartans to make it a 3-1 success.

PREMIER DIVISION EAST

The race is on for the title in Premier Division East with Greengate District sitting six points clear following their final game of the season which saw them win 3-2 against Inter Newbury. Ruben Silva struck twice and Melih Saglam once for the hosts.

Second placed Dagenham United earned all three points from their trip to Hainault, beating Something From Nothing in a 3-1 result at Fairlop Oak. Renato Molaudzi, Enos Owusu and Cain Dash all found the back of the net for Dagenham, their twelfth win of the season.

At the other end of the table, FC Baresi Reserves moved three points clear of bottom place with a game to go, edging a five-goal thriller with Barkingside Reserves by the odd goal in a 3-2 scoreline. Melvine Boni, Aaron Craig and Malachi Kazley all struck to give themselves hope of beating the drop.

It was a score draw in the game at Fairlop Oak where Motormen and Romford Town Flyers couldn't be seperated across ninety minutes. The game ended in a 2-2 draw with Roy Stevens and Niccolo Marcolini both on target for the hosts and Seyhan Cucel and Thomas Makhan responding for Flyers.

Over at Newbury Park, there was another goal-filled game as Waltham Abbey A moved up into sixth place with a fifth league win of the season, beating Redbridge Community 3-2. Donte Walker and Melanijus Butkus both found the back of the net but their efforts proved just consolation for the visitors.

PREMIER DIVISION WEST

The West division action saw Sporting Bengal United moved to within just a point of a promotion finish, notching all three points from their 4-1 home win against Unitey. Arshad Kizito, Umar Abdullah, Janae Phipps and Vaughan Wrightson goals proved more than enough for the hosts.

London Park City's penultimate match of a difficult season saw them record just their second win of the campaign, taking home all three points from east London after a 3-1 away win against London Cranes. Though mathematically not impossible, goal difference means survival is a tall order.

There was just a single goal in the division's other game where Stratford East were the beneficiries, netting a 1-0 win against North East Lions in the battle of fourth versus fifth. That win was Stratford's eighth of the season with a couple of games to go.

DIVISION ONE

There was just the one game in Division One and it saw Lymore Gardens Under 23s take a lead against title chasing side, Ocean Pacific. But the visitors fought back to level and then took home the points in a vital 2-1 win at Parsloes Park.

DIVISION TWO

It was double header action in Division Two where Old Barkabbeyans Reserves shared the points in a 1-1 draw first up with Dagenham United Reserves, Yunus Mussa and Fredericus Cunningham on the scoresheet. Barks netted a 2-0 win in the other game with Tunji Ebun-Cole and Keenan Lewis scoring.

DIVISION THREE

The race for promotion will head into the final two games of the campaign after Changing Lives produced a strong 6-3 away win against London Academics at the Marshes. Andrews Ohene-Poku scored a hat-trick, Ussri Badawi and Agoro Fuad adding the others.

Third placed Chingford Harriers are certainly keeping up the pace and ready to pounce with any slip up, producing a 2-0 win against Jays on Saturday, their thirteen success of the season, with Regan Marshall and Darnell Lamothe scoring the goals.

There was just the one goal at Westlands where Romford Town Flyers Reserves  moved into fifth sport on the back of a 1-0 win at home against Just Play in a mid-table derby. Harry Glenister scored the game's only goal to net his side the points.

At Parsloes Park, there were seven goals in the game between Cobra and Buckhurst Way where the visitors found their shooting boots in a 6-1 win for Way. Philly Alabo scored for the hosts but his goal proved in vain in the end.
