SENIOR DIVISION CUP

The first cup finalist was confirmed on Tuesday evening as Waltham Forest Borough netted the game’s only goal against Frenford Development with George Whalley scoring that only effort in a 1-0 Borough win.

There was quarter-final action in the other half of the draw where Saint City were taking on Sporting Bengal United Reserves in Newbury Park. It took just a single goal to separate the sides in this one too with Mubaraq Alade’s goal for City confirming a 1-0 win.

SENIOR DIVISION

The league title is on the brink following the weekend’s results where London Harts United defeated closest rivals, Waltham Forest Borough, in a 2-0 scoreline at the Harlow Arena, moving the leaders to within two wins of the title.

The other big moves centred on the other end of the table where Fairlop Rovers moved off the bottom, starting their busy run in with a 1-0 away victory over Woodford Town Under 23s at Whitbreads.

Relegation threatened Frenford Development racked up a super 7-1 victory over Ongar Town. Jude Collins’ effort was superseded by Phillip Hayford’s brace and strikes from Callum Alexander, Thomas Scantlebury, James Ikotun, Kishawn James and Adam Abdelaziz.

At Robert Clack, it was a big result in the game between Dagenham United and Greengate District where the latter earned a 3-1 win on the day to put Dagenham on the brink of the drop. Ruben Silva scored two and Jordan Lemard one, rendering Tajean Lewis’ goal as just consolation.

Another side down near the danger zone are Sporting Bengal United Reserves, bouncing back from midweek’s reverse to earn a vital three points in a 4-2 win over Kulture.  Ezekiel Ertl’s hat-trick proved the difference with Zaydan Uddin netting the other.

It took just a single goal to eventually separate the two teams at Flanders Playing Field where Chadwell Heath Spartans left 1-0 winners against Saint City after Ryan O’Connell got himself on the scoresheet.

Over at Wadham Lodge, the division’s action is rounded off by another super result against a leading side as Ryan produced a 4-2 win over FC Petrocub London to further cement their safety in the top tier for another season.

PREMIER DIVISION EAST

The East action got underway on Friday night as Bakers693 continued their rival with a home victory at Parsloes Park against Motormen, 4-2 the final score with Joseph McEnroe netting two, Robbie Farrell and David Macauley notching the others.

A huge result at Westlands put a dent in the Bealonians title fight, going down by the odd goal in a 2-1 defeat against Romford Town Flyers where Max Setford and Ali Rajim’s goals edged the contest, Samuel Hawkes scoring for the hosts.

It ended all square in the game from Lakeside Sports Ground where AS Rapid Londra earned a point in a 2-2 draw with Kit Out London. Wangel Nvima and Federico Ardei goals for the hosts were equalled by Emmanuel Balogun and Charles Ariwa strikes.

Another close game came from Roding Lane where Buckhurst Hill Under 23s were taking on Inter Newbury in their clash, a single goal for the visitors from Dawid Potoczek enough for them to leave the happier of the teams, Newbury 1-0 winners.

Continuing a theme of close games, it was derby day at Fairlop Oak where Something From Nothing took a valuable point from their home game with Manford Way Reserves with Umar Ali scoring for Manford.

PREMIER DIVISION WEST

Goals were plentiful in the West division where Ocean Pacific continued a memorable week with a three points haul in the league, beating London Cranes 5-3 with Darwin Orozco scoring two, Jossue Sierra, Gabriel Merlo and Norlan Bautista scoring.

Perhaps the game of the day on paper saw first face third with Vallance looking to continue their charge with the visit of Newham Wanderers. But Newham had other ideas and left 4-1 winners with Joao Mendes, Umar Zeb and Henrique Mendes scoring.

Making things very interesting were Priory Park Rangers who produced one of their best performances of the season to take down Unitey in Walthamstow where Alfie Wallis and Matthew Warman goals helped Rangers leave 3-0 winners over the promotion chasers.

There were six goals in the game from Aylward where FC Baresi Reserves netted four in a 4-2 win over Onyx as Kuba Ollivierre scored twice, Ali Shikheey and Harlem Anderson the others. Ange Mulula and Andy Adomakoh scored for the visitors in response.

Back at Peter May Sports Centre, a local derby match up pitched North East Lions against West Essex Reserves with the latter leaving the happier, 5-2 winners despite a couple of Jai Perkins goals for Lions.

Completing the action from the division, at Douglas Eyre Sports Centre, Sporting Hackney took home all three points with them as they scored the odd goal in a 2-1 victory over Old Esthameians.

DIVISION ONE EAST

It’s advantage Royal Forest in the title race as they moved further ahead following a 4-2 away win over Chadwell Heath Spartans Reserves, aided by goals from Jake Tibbitts, Stanley Kweya, Fifi Banin and Remel Green. Leland Ballie and Owen Rami netted in reply.

That position was further strengthened as rivals, Loughton Town, were held to a score draw away at FC Alpha, the sides finishing 1-1 through an Ion Besleaga goal for the hosts and Billy Jennings’ strike.

Draws were a bit of a theme and that extended to another game where Old Barkabbeyans Reserves took a point in their game with Dagenham United Reserves with Shola Shonibare and Jeremy Odametey striking, Formoso Da Silva and Alexandre Santo responding for the visitors.

Another one to finish with teams sharing the spoils was the game between Lymore Gardens Reserves and Bealonians Reserves, ending in a 1-1 draw at Parsloes Park with little between the sides.

It was a positive result however for Old Parkonians A who saw the visit of Romford Town Flyers Reserves to Barkingside, Parks scoring both goals in a 2-0 win with Charlie Fiander and Shaun Gibson scoring the goals.

DIVISION ONE WEST

An emphatic scoreline kicks off the West division action where promotion chasing Leyton City saw a major dent put in their hopes after an 11-0 defeat to Get Rich Together. Nicholas Senyort scored three, Klevi Plori two, Gunay Ahmet, Sydney Da Silva, Ibrahim Timbo, Mateo Varela, Legend Umujoro and Hasan Kanlikilinc with the goals.

Another big result affecting matters at the top end of the table saw Sich London record a strong home win over second placed Parsonage Leys with Serhii Hura scoring two and Vasyl Kovtash one, Abdul Bamba scoring for Leys in reply.

Hackney Wanderers were the side to benefit, moving further clear at the top as they prevailed 3-2 against Saint City Reserves with Toby Bloomfield scoring two and Michael Morgan one. Shahab Magala and Emmanuel Hammond netted in consolation for City.

DIVISION TWO CUP

It was semi-final day in the Division Two Cup where Chingford Harriers and Glendale met at Peter May in a tightly contested match, a single second half goal from a set piece scored by Conor Bailey proving the difference between the two sides.

DIVISION TWO

Title chasing Eastside Foundation suffered a tough home defeat in Hainault as Lymore Gardens Under 23s left victorious in a 2-1 scoreline, despite a significant gap between the sides in the league standings.

That same result was reflected in another of the division’s fixtures as CSM London took all three points home with them after a 2-1 home win against Thurrock Thameside at The Foundry, Junior Milla scoring for the hosts and Jamie Catania-Masters in reply.

London East got back to winning ways after last week’s cup reverse as they made the most of a trip to Dagenham, taking home all three points following a 4-2 win against Freetown at Castle Green.

DIVISION THREE CUP

Buckhurst Way wrapped up top spot in the Division Three Cup group stage after a hard fought win over second placed Old Parkonians B, Parks ending 3-2 losers despite goals from Emeka Ezeleu and Reece Symons.

DIVISION THREE

At Parsloes Park, the division’s only surviving game saw a well contested 2-2 draw in the game between Jays and Upminster Albion. George Cornwell is a man who knows where the net is and his two goals meant Albion took a point back with them.
