SENIOR DIVISION CUP
The penultimate quarter-final of the Senior Division Cup took place on Wednesday as Waltham Forest Borough’s faced Ongar Town at Wodson Park. Two Dean Florence goals and strikes from Ben Newman, Dylan Florence and Mustafa Hussain proved more than enough for Borough to win 5-1, Max Galati scoring the Town consolation effort.
SENIOR DIVISION
At Coles Park on Friday night, Haringey Borough Reserves were up against FC Petrocub London where it was the visitors who left the happier of the sides, Petrocub 2-0 winners with a goal each from Gritcan Dumitru and Ion Spinu.
Over at Parsloes Park, it was part two of the dual between Waltham Forest Borough and Ongar Town, those sides meeting once again with Borough winning this one too, 3-0, through a Kazim Bishop brace and a Dylan Florence goal.
There was an important game at the bottom end of the standings where Dagenham United recorded a third win and moved off the bottom with a 2-1 win against Sporting Bengal United Reserves, Mubaarak Hameed and Yusuf Cetin the scorers.
At Wadham Lodge, hosts Ryan were up against a CSM London side in decent form recently, the visitors completing a 3-0 win to move second with goals from Junior Milla, Cyril Pluche and Euan Mutale.
London Harts United struck a winner in their game against Frenford Development to move sixteen points clear at the summit, 3-2 winners despite Frenford goals from Beau Samuels and Teraun Davis.
Chadwell Heath Spartans took home a point as they scored to make it 2-2 in the game against Greengate District. Patrick Enoh-Arthur and Ruben Silva goals had put Greengate ahead but Mitchell Smith and Ryan O’Connell efforts levelled it.
PREMIER DIVISION EAST
With the leaders out of action, AS Rapid Londra took advantage to leapfrog them into top spot as they came away 5-3 winners from their game with Athletic Newham Under 23s. Andi Hotoi scored two, Cristian Cazacu, Wangel Nvima and Daniel Tita with the others.
At Parsloes Park, it was two sides battling in the top half as Inter Newbury sent Manford Way Reserves to a 6-2 defeat after Deivadas Sertvietis and Kyran Chiedozie both scored two, Gabriel Mendoza and Praise Masasu the others. Shomari Barnwell and Tyler Le Poidevin scored for Manford in reply.
Fifth placed Kit Out London are another side amongst the chasing pack and they recorded a seventh win of the season with a 2-0 away victory over Bakers693, Tarik Aciyan and Bobby Brown both scoring.
Completing the action from the division, it was a 5-2 home win for Romford Town Flyers against Something From Nothing as a Leonardo Lopes hat-trick led the way, Christos Mead and Serigne Lahat scoring the others while Mike Nduakulu and Harvi Shehi notched consolation efforts.
PREMIER DIVISION WEST
Ocean Pacific produced the biggest win of the day in Premier Division West as Luis Hernandez and Norlan Bautista hat-tricks saw them win 7-2 against Old Esthameians. Cesar Narvaez scored the other goal, Harland Taylor and Henry Gray scoring in reply for E’s.
Leaders, Newham Wanderers, produced a winning performance in Dagenham as they racked up a 4-0 home victory over FC Baresi Reserves courtesy of an Emmanuel Chukwumah hat-trick and a Muhammed Camara strike.
Priory Park Rangers put in one of the most important performances of the season to record just a second win of the season, beating North East Lions 5-2 despite Tarique Jones and Jai Perkins goals for the hosts.
Second placed Vallance sit just a point off the leaders in Premier Division West after a successful away trip to West Essex Reserves, a single goal enough in the end to hand Vallance a 1-0 win and confirming a tenth victory.
There was a five-goal thriller as Onyx scored the odd goal in a 3-2 home success in the late game at Peter May against London Cranes. George Young, Riley Ernest and Daniel Njodzeka scored the goals to hand Onyx the points.
Another close game was played out at Douglas Eyre where Sporting Hackney hosted a Unitey side looking to close the gap on the promotion places. Abdulhakim Mahammed scored the game’s only goal, that being enough for a 1-0 Unitey win.
DIVISION ONE EAST
FC Alpha were the only winners in Division One East as they racked up a solid 5-0 home victory over Redbridge Community despite coming into the game with an eight point deficit. Igor Mamulat struck a hat-trick, Oleg Rosca and Liviu Nistreanu netting the others.
It ended all square in the game from Westlands where Romford Town Flyers Reserves earned another point in a 1-1 draw with Lymore Gardens Reserves as Jack Walsh’s goal for Town was equalled by a Jordan Monk strike for Lymore.
It was a case of defences reigning supreme in the other game from the division where Chadwell Heath Spartans Reserves and Dagenham United Reserves had to settle for a share of the spoils in one of those rare 0-0 draws.
DIVISION ONE WEST
Leaders, Hackney Wanderers, ensured they stayed top for another week after a solid 3-1 win on the road against Get Rich Together, Patrick Machado scoring two and Palmiro Cabo-Verde notching the other to keep their side three points clear.
Second placed Parsonage Leys are pushing hard to close the gap, producing a big 7-0 home win over local rivals, Changing Lives. Byron Opeodu and Leon Arif braces led the way with Costa Azzopardi, George Storey-Braun and Joshua Wilkening also netting.
Also scoring seven in a win were UK Moldova who played host to a Tajik Unity side in desperate need for points to keep alive hopes of avoiding the drop. But it was UK Moldova’s afternoon, winning the game 7-2 to move up to sixth spot.
DIVISION TWO
It was a big afternoon in Division Two where leaders, Iona Wheels, suffered a big reverse, beating 7-2 by a now second placed Eastside Foundation side. Bailey Childs scored a hat-trick, Archie Liman, Ryan Taylor, Jack Houston-Taylor and Shadrack Boakye also on the scoresheet.
At Capital City College, Terrill Blake-Alleyne headed London Academics into an early lead in their game with Glendale before Emmanuel Ejembi’s lob brought the sides level in the second half, Achraf El Kheir then producing the finish to hand Glendale a 2-1 win.
It was a closely fought game between Chingford Harriers and Thurrock Thameside who had to settle for a share of the spoils after an entertaining 3-3 draw. Andrew Bowring, Connor Bailey and Mitchell Mills goals for Harriers were equalled by Ihsan Saeed, Fayaz Omar and Aleem Balogun efforts for Thurrock.
It ended all square in another of the games too as Freetown secured just a second point of the season in a 2-2 draw with Lymore Gardens Under 23s, Nicholas Barbosa scoring both of the goals for the visitors.
It took the odd goal in seven to separate London East and Kulture Reserves with the former bagging a 4-3 win helped by Andrew Barrow and Jordan Brown braces. Ali Ramazani scored two and Sidrael Mansaray in reply for Kulture.
DIVISION THREE CUP
Buckhurst Way have closed gap on group leaders, Jays, following the weekend’s cup action from Parsloes Park as the visitors produced a terrific 5-2 winning performance to remain unbeaten in the competition.
COUNTY CUP
In the Essex Junior Trophy, CSM London Under 23s have moved into the semi-finals of the competition after a comprehensive 4-0 home win over Essex & Suffolk Border League side, Prettygate Reserves.
It was the end of the road however for Old Parkonians B who finally were able to complete their third round against Rochford Town Reserves but were defeated on the road, Town 5-3 winners to head into the last eight.
The Old Boys Senior Cup had reached the semi-final stage on Saturday where Bealonians were up against Reigatians in the clash, the visitors edging the game 2-1 to book a place in the final at Beals’ expense.
