SENIOR DIVISION
The sole Senior action from Friday evening saw a trip to Wodson Park for Saint City as they took on Ongar Town. Wesley Antonio struck for Town but a couple of Richard Boah goals for Saints saw them leave with the three points in a 2-1 result.
There was another valuable three points for the leaders on Saturday as London Harts United took home all three points with them following their trip to Walthamstow, beating Kulture 3-0. Anthony Ralenkov struck two off the bench with John Quissua adding the other to the scoresheet.
It was another three points too for CSM London who netted four without reply against Sporting Bengal United Reserves in north east London, 4-0 winners through two Junior Milla goals and one each from Conrad Doggett and David Quarteyson.
The final game from the division came from Coles Park where a rare Saturday home fixture saw Haringey Borough Reserves taking on Greengate District. It was the visitors who left the happier however as Emerson D’Jar scored twice and Ruben Silva added the other in a 3-1 Greengate win.
PREMIER DIVISION CUP
The first round action in the Premier Cup reached a conclusion with the tie from Flanders as Ocean Pacific continued their strong cup form with another win, beating Athletic Newham Under 23s 5-2 to reach the last sixteen courtesy of two goals from Norlan Bautista and one apiece from Carlos Solis, Sergio Baca and Florin Ivancia.
PREMIER DIVISION EAST
Old Barkabbeyans returned to the top of the Premier Division East standings but had to be content with just a point as they were held to a 1-1 draw against AS Rapid Londra, Andi Hotoi scoring the Rapid goal that keeps his side still well involved in third spot.
With games in hand, Inter Newbury could close the gap on the promotion places and they used one of those to good effect following a 3-0 away success over Something From Nothing where Gabriel Mendoza, Kyran Chiedozie and Halameen Agbaje goals proved the difference.
There was a five goal thriller at Parsloes Park where Kit Out London eventually prevailed by the odd goal in a 3-2 win at home against Buckhurst Hill Under 23s as Deniz Doru, Nicholas Evangelou and Charles Ariwa goals overcame Hill efforts from Archie Hammond and Alfie Padington.
That was the same scoreline that featured in another game at Parsloes where Condor struck winning form with a hard fought 3-2 home win over Bakers693 in the Dagenham derby, helped by a goal apiece from Ruslan Belicescu, Darius Darie and Grigore Voicu.
Completing a hat-trick of 3-2 scorelines was the final fixture from the division where the Hainault derby pitted Manford Way Reserves up against Motormen at Fairlop, the latter the side to leave victorious after some impact substitutions, Vaughan Wrighton scoring twice and Joshua Adeyemi-Adebowale once off the bench.
PREMIER DIVISION WEST
It’s just a point separating the top two sides in Premier West where Newham Wanderers stayed top following their weekend’s narrow 3-2 away victory over London Cranes with Robertson Morais, Manuel Batista and Emmanuel Chukwumah scoring the goals.
Things were a little more routine for second placed Vallance as they rattled in seven in their away trip to Priory Park Rangers to keep the pace at the top. Victor Ewa scored two for the visitors, Arman Hussain, Mikie Robinson, Kelvin Gomes, Jotham Kajerero and Yerim Sakho the others on the scoresheet.
That same scoreline was reflected in the game from Aylwards Academy where FC Baresi Reserves found scoring form in a big 7-1 home win over Old Esthameians. Filippo Lovascio scored two, Archie Flynn, Nikhil Juggessur, Steven Aguiar, Mkay Kitoko and Bleon Kurtolli the others while Danny Harris popped up with a rare strike for E’s.
It was local derby in the other game from the division where Onyx popped across to the other side of the North Circular to take on West Essex Reserves at Wadham Lodge, the sides ending locked at 2-2 in the end as Andy Adomakoh and Mason Young contributed goals for Onyx.
DIVISION ONE CUP
In the first round of the Division One Cup, it was Royal Forest in action against fellow East division opposition as they entertained Old Parkonians A at Roding Valley. Lee Upton got on the Parks scoresheet but that proved just consolation in an eventual 3-1 win for Forest.
Over at Douglas Eyre, it was second round action in the tie between Tajik Unity and FC Alpha for a place in the quarter finals with the visitors, Alpha, the sides to leave happier as two Serghei Scupoi goals and one each for Sandu Muntean and Liviu Nistreanu helped their side win 4-0.
DIVISION ONE EAST
There were two close games in the East where a single goal proved enough to separate Chadwell Heath Spartans Reserves and their Lymore Gardens Reserves counterparts, Samir Aboulainaf scoring that effort to hands Spartans a 1-0 win.
It was another close fixture in Dagenham over at Robert Clack Leisure Centre where previously tenth placed Dagenham United Reserves secured themselves a vital victory, beating third placed Redbridge Community in a 2-1 scoreline to move out of the danger zone.
DIVISION ONE WEST
The gap at the top of the division has closed to three points following the weekend’s results where Hackney Wanderers were held to a 1-1 draw with promotion contenders, Saint City Reserves, Michael Morgan striking for the hosts and Andrew Ekumah scoring for City.
That result allowed Parsonage Leys to make up ground and move second after beating the side who previously occupied that position, Leyton City, in a 3-0 scoreline. Andul-Quadir Bamba scored twice for the hosts with Byron Opeodu adding the other.
SP United were another beneficiary of points dropped by sides in the upper reaches as they moved up into third with a solid 4-1 away win against Get Rich Together courtesy of two Richard Arhin goals, alongside Luca Jeffries and Nana Asante-Bediako strikes. Nicholas Senyurt got on the GRT scoresheet with their consolation effort.
It was a home victory for Changing Lives who moved further clear of any danger at the foot of the table following that 3-1 success against London Park City. Dawod Abakr, Ismail Aziz and Agoro Fuad scored the crucial goals for the hosts to make it three wins for the season.
The remaining game came from east London where UK Moldova’s home clash with Sich London ended with the visitors taking the points, Sich 3-1 victors in the game after two Ruslan Mykheiev goals and one from Vasyl Kovtash, while Gheorge Bria scored for the hosts.
DIVISION TWO CUP
There were two close games in the Division Two Cup at Fairlop, beginning with a five goal thriller between London East and London Academics where, despite two Olajide Oshunfuyi goals for the visitors, it was London East who prevailed by scoring three in a 3-2 win and securing a quarter-final place.
It was a similarly close game on the next pitch where Glendale went into a lead through Jibo Idris and Jelka Tabukanga goals early on before Thurrock Thameside levelled the game at 2-2 in the second half. It was Glendale who eventually prevailed in the shootout, winning 5-4 to move on through.
DIVISION TWO
There were some big impact results back in the league where Eastside Foundation put their marker down with a late goal winning their clash 4-3 against CSM London Under 23s. Healing Bussolino scored two and Jahim Stapleton-Payne the other for CSM with Jack Houston-Taylor netting two, Benjamin Shoderu and Joshua Junaid the others.
