FENTON CUP

In the Fenton Cup, Motormen produced the result of the day to end Sporting Bengal United Reserves’ involvement, the visitors winning 3-2. Steven Bohan and Jaiden Odle scored for Bengal but substitute goals from Jabriel Hakeem, Hapunuchukwuya Ojougboh and Ethan Sparkes goals won it for Motormen.

The day’s other tie came from Wadham Lodge where London Cranes were in away action with the visit to Kulture. Oscar Innocent scored for Cranes but his efforts were insufficient as Landry Gogoa’s hat-trick led the way, Mason Rees and Leonardo Lowe with the others in a 5-1 Kulture win.

SENIOR DIVISION

The big game on Friday night saw two high-flying sides meet at Wodson Park where FC Petrocub London returned to winning ways with a 2-0 away victory over Ongar Town, Nicolai Cotruta and Ghenadie Moisei netting the important efforts.

There was a seven-goal thriller at Coles Park under the lights as London Harts United continued their push, winning 4-3 over Haringey Borough Reserves aided by a Tam Retyi hat-trick and John Quissua’s goal. Nacer Ahmed, Pharrell Mensah and Oscan Cameron scored for Borough in reply.

Those results meant Saint City were the biggest winners of the weekend, moving top of the table and unbeaten still after a 3-0 home win against Fairlop Rovers.  Sandro Pereira scored two and Richard Boah once in the win.

Woodford Town Under 23s also scored three goals as they recorded a 3-1 home success over Dagenham United with Jayden Bangura making the difference with two goals, Joel Oramadike the other. Hafidh Ally scored the other for Dagenham.

It’s been a strong start to the season for Waltham Forest Borough who are up into fifth spot in the table on the back of a narrow 2-1 away win over Ryan. Dean Florence and Hayes Thomas scored the goals in their sixth win of the year.

CSM London took all three points in their game with Frenford Development with Ashley King and Cyril Pluche goals enough to win it 2-1, overcoming Peter Oyetuniji’s goal for the visitors.

The final game from the division ended all square at 2-2 as Greengate District netted late on to take a point against Chadwell Heath Spartans. George Handley and Billy Gipp scored for Spartans with Lua Silva netting for Greengate.

PREMIER DIVISION EAST

The Premier East action commenced on Friday evening and it saw AS Rapid Londra prevailed from their trip to Dagenham with a 3-1 win over Bakers693, Andi Hotoi scoring two and Gabriel Pop one.

Bealonians lead the way at the top of the table after Saturday’s action, producing a comprehensive 5-0 win against Something From Nothing to lead on goal difference. Daniel Mahoney, Joseph Jones, Louie Morales, Ashley Farrer and Rhys Clements struck with goals in the win.

Manford Way Reserves ensured they remain well in the picture after a hard fought 2-1 win over Inter Newbury in Hainault. Kirk McPherson and Jayden Hocking-Rising goals edged the contest with Daniel Garfinkle netting the Newbury consolation.

The fourth side on thirteen points are Condor who were involved in a thriller of a game, eventually prevailing 4-3 over Buckhurst Hill Under 23s. Mihai Bozianu scored two, Darius Darie and Liviu Tihon one, while Joseph Finch, Levi Burgin and Jason Balde struck for Hill.

The remaining two games ended in score draws, beginning at Westlands where Romford Town Flyers and Athletic Newham Under 23s couldn’t be separated over ninety minutes, ending 2-2 with Max Setford and Ali Rajim goals for the hosts.

Down at South Park Drive, Old Barkabbeyans and Kit Out London went into their contest with the hosts holding a two point advantage, and that was how it ended as the sides combined for a 1-1 draw with Delphin Xavier and Bobby Brown netting goals.

PREMIER DIVISION WEST

There were some close games in the West division, Vallance netting one of only two wins on the day as they went top of the table, beating North East Lions in a 2-1 success at Fords, despite Shaquille Amara’s goal for the visitors.

West Essex Reserves are up into third place in the table, producing a local derby victory over Ocean Pacific at Peter May. West were 2-0 winners courtesy of a goal apiece from Paul Schouwenburg and Luey Young.

Second placed Unitey had to settle for a share of the points as they were held to a 1-1 draw on their travels against FC Baresi Reserves. Demitri Davis-Thorpe struck for the hosts and Ahmed Dousa notched for Unitey.

That same scoreline was reflected in another of the games where Old Esthameians took a share of the points with Onyx with the game ending in a hard-fought 1-1 draw at full-time with Andy Adomakoh netting for Onyx and Ibrahim Sidibe’s for E’s.

It was a case of defences on top in the final fixture from the division with neither Priory Park Rangers or Newham Wanderers able to find the back of the net in a goalless draw at Douglas Eyre, that match finishing 0-0.

DIVISION ONE EAST

The biggest winners of the day were Lymore Gardens Reserves in Division One, their home fixture with Old Barkabbeyans Reserves seeing them find the back of the net ten times in a 10-1 win, overcoming Josh Robinson’s goal.

It’s six wins from seven for Loughton Town who moved into eighteen points following a narrow 1-0 win over Dagenham United Reserves at Robert Clack where Owen McKelvey was on target with the game’s only goal.

Sitting three points behind the leaders but with two games in hand are Royal Forest who are now five wins from five after Tommy Ainsworth scored two, Eoin Coughlan, William Adomako and Stanley Kweya with the other in a 5-1 success, Toby Kellar scoring Beals Reserves’ goal.

Old Parkonians A were winners on the road too where Ashley Collins scored two and George Allen one in a 3-1 victory over Redbridge Community, a result which sees them sitting third in the standings.

There was little between the sides at Noak Hill as FC Alpha were up against Chadwell Heath Spartans Reserves in a game where defences reigned supreme, the deadline unable to be broken as the match ended 0-0.

DIVISION ONE WEST

There were plenty of goals in Division One West where Richard Arhin scored a hat-trick for SP United but that wasn’t enough in the end as Latrel Louis scored a hattie of his own in reply for Get Rich Together, Legend Umukoro and Isaiah Djoboga with the others, 6-3 the final scoreline.

Saint City Reserves are the new leaders on goal difference, their latest endeavours seeing them win 3-1 at home over Tajik Unity. Daoude Cisse scored twice and Cartel Emmanuel once in the victory.

Parsonage Leys trail the leaders on goal difference along after they recorded a third win of the season with victory over London Park City. Jake Turner scored twice off the bench with Jack Payton and Kaine Fry goals finishing it 4-1.

At Wadham Lodge, Leyton City put a fourth win of the season on the board after their 3-1 home win over a UK Moldova side also showing some good form. Charlie Cox, Joel Malundama and Sterlange Nzeza goals winning it despite a Bogdan Rus goal for Moldova.

A close game at Northbrooks saw the points shared between Changing Lives and Sich London, 3-3 the final scoreline as Oumar Diambo, Agoro Fuad and Ivan Arabadzhiev goals were equalled by Serhii Hura, Ivan Popov and Mykola Salabai efforts.

DIVISION TWO

CSM London Under 23s produced a big result in Division Two to end Iona Wheels’ unbeaten start to the season in a 2-1 scoreline. Jahim Stapleton-Payne and Musa Manneh goals provided pivotal, overcoming Elliot Hastings’ goal.

That same scoreline was reflected at Fairlop Oak where Glendale moved onto eight points with a 2-1 home victory over Freetown, Mouhamed Gueye and Valter Correia scoring the goals to render David Saffa’s goal as consolation.

There were two big away wins with London Academics netting one of those with a 4-1 victory away at Thurrock Thameside where Alie Abdalmageed scored two, Terril Blake-Alleyne and Jordan Dixon-Walker adding the others for their side.

London East went one goal better with a 5-1 away win over Lymore Gardens Under 23s, East making it two wins in three with that success to remain in eighth place in the standings as the season progresses.

DIVISION THREE

The Division Three action saw some close games with Jays moving top of the table after a narrow 3-2 win over now second-placed Buckhurst Way. Kieran and Riley Salek-Taghizadeh both struck with Joshua Newton also scoring in the win, Godwill Kumpana and Jason Gomes netting consolations for Buckhurst.

That scoreline was reflected in Barkingside where Old Parkonians B were beaten by a Cobra side who racked up a first league win of the season with Todd Bolger, Connor Ross and Joe Smith all scoring in a 3-2 win for the Dagenham based side.

Over at Westlands, another side scoring three in a win were Romford Town Flyers A who took home all the points after a 3-1 victory against Upminster Albion. Keaton Russell, Peter Brinton-Quinn and Alfie Bennett scored the goals on the day for Town.
