Wapping chairman Nahimul Islam scoops FA Volunteer of the Year award

Congratulations must go to Wapping FC chairman, Nahimul Islam, who has won the FA Young Volunteer of the Year award, beating off opposition from all over England.
Nominated by the London FA, the award recognises his contributions and dedication to his club and community since starting the club as an 18 year old. Nahimul received this prestigious award on the Wembley pitch during half time in Sunday's FA Community Shield Final between Chelsea and Manchester City, meeting England legend Sir Geoff Hurst in the process.
