SENIOR DIVISION

With matters at both ends now resolved, it’s just jockeying for finishing places at stake in the remaining games this season, beginning at Parsloes Park where Frenford Development confirmed a fifth place finish after beating Kit Out London in a 5-3 scoreline. Kishawn James’ brace along with Isimi Iguisi and Tyler Shillingford singles confirmed the result with Akeem Matthews netting two and Alex Soloman one in reply for Kit Out.

Also at Parsloes Park, Lymore Gardens and Sporting Hackney both completed their respective seasons with a six goal thriller seeing the Parrots walk away with three points to move into thirteenth place in the standings. Karim Bukleb, Tyler Springer, James Head and Jerrel Watkins all scored to see Sporting win the game 4-2.

PREMIER DIVISION EAST

Fairlop Rovers have regained control at the top of the Premier Division East table with four games to go, completing a replay win against Newbury Athletic to take all three points. Danyal Arshad scored the game’s only but vital goal as Rovers won 1-0 to move into a five point lead at the summit heading into the last month of the season.

Second placed Unitey are that side sitting five points adrift with a game against the leaders next weekend, their latest efforts seeing the Loughton based side take the spoils in a 5-1 home victory against Something From Nothing. Junior Milla’s hat-trick proved pivotal, his efforts added to by goals from Ahmed Dousa and Jai Perkins to complete an important win.

PREMIER DIVISION WEST

Philip United remain five points clear at the top of the West division table following the weekend’s results after the leaders took the spoils with a 4-2 away victory against Athletic Newham in East Ham. That was win number sixteen for United while Athletic Newham are still not assured of safety with three games to go.

Third placed Renegade continue to keep the pressure up on the promotion places with key games to come against both sides above them, their weekend’s performance seeing them romp to a 9-1 away win against Wanstead to record a twelfth win of the campaign. Fabio Pereira scored a hat-trick off the bench, Adham Ennaoumi, Wellington Ismael and Anthony Ralenekov all scoring twice, rendering Arion Svarqa’s goal as consolation.

London Cranes were also victorious on the day as they faced an FC Baresi Reserves side at Flanders with an eye on a move into the top half of the table. And they did achieve that, despite an Edson Lami goal for the visitors, Cranes edging the game 2-1 to take a sixth league win of the season and moving sixth in the process.

DIVISION ONE

In Division One, there were a glut of goals in Dagenham where hosts Freetown and Royal Lions shared thirteen. But it was Lions walking away the happier, moving second in the table with one game to go to keep promotion in their hands. Kuene Fernandes scored a hat-trick, Kasbon Tokenge scored two with Joshua Wilson-Osuide, Randa Adele, Drey Johnson and Emmanuel Sergio scoring in a 9-4 win. Sammy Bartle, Victor Nwagbara, Donald Adaakwah and Joshua Fisayo netted the Freetown goals in reply.

Over in north east London, hosts Chingford Athletic Reserves were in action with their penultimate game of the season, facing up to Ocean Pacific in a local derby fixture. It was a win for fourth placed Ocean on the day, winning 6-1 to complete their season with a ninth win of the campaign, finishing fourth.

DIVISION TWO

In Division Two, attentions were on matters towards the bottom end of the standings where the bottom two, Redbridge Community Reserves and cup finalists, Chingford Harriers, were in action with both sides desperate for league points. And it was Redbridge who walked away with the points, winning 2-0 through a Calvyn Massala brace to take their first win of the season.

Over at Forest Row, Dagenham United Reserves went into the clash with Collier Row Reserves trailing their opponents by seven points. But a strong performance saw United walk away 6-1 winners with Diogo Manessim scoring two to go with goals from Fredericus Cunningham, Cain Dash, Nyarko Adu and Lineka Ogunne.

DIVISION THREE

In Division Three, Collier Row Wheels’ push for promotion remains in their control ahead of the remaining last three games as they came through their clash with Glendale with a goal in each half to win 2-0. That saw Wheels record a thirteenth win of the campaign, sitting two points off the pace with two games in hand.

Over at Fairlop Oak in the early kick-off, Melbourne Sports were up against Changing Lives in the Mels’ last league game of the season and despite a man advantage in the game, were held to a draw against their visitors who took a point in a 1-1 draw. Alan Valle scored the Changing Lives goal, the two teams’ seventh and fifth draws of the season respectively.
