PREMIER DIVISION EAST
All eyes were on the remaining matter to be settled in the East division with Ongar Town heading into their last game of the season against Unitey knowing that only a win would do to secure the runners-up position. Matthew Surry struck for the visitors but Ongar goals from Alfie Scarborough, Finlay Cook and Jack Walden saw their side end the day celebrating, winning 3-1 to confirm second place for their side.
The other remaining game in the East division came from Parsloes Park where cup finalists, Soul, were up against a Redbridge Community side in both sides last game of a long campaign. Zachary Thomas scored for Soul but Redbridge, despite missing a glut of early chances, eventually prevailed in the game, winning 3-1 to take all three points.
PREMIER DIVISION WEST
It was a similarly important day over in the West division where two results would determine the outcome of the runners-up spot. The eyes were initially all on the first game between Newham Wanderers and Snaresbrook in Dagenham where Harry Prince's effort gave Snaresbrook a lead, but Newham equalised quickly after to level it up. But Prince's second goal of the game, late on made it 2-1 and confirmed a runners-up finish for their side.
That result meant that the other game had less riding on it as Renegade went into their fixture against champions, Philip United. Some excellent finishing saw Renegade 4-1 up at the break, a scoreline they continued to add to in the second half to finish the season with a 7-1 win under their belts and a third place finish.
The remaining game in the division took place on Monday afternoon as London Cranes travelled to Wadham Lodge to take on Wanstead in both sides' last game of the season. It was the visitors, Cranes, who walked away winners on the day, overcoming an Aaron Svarqa goal to take all three points in a 3-1 victory, that result lifting them up into the top five this season.
PREMIER PLAY-OFF
The Bank Holiday Monday action saw East face West at Parsloes Park with Philip United taking an early lead in the game through Tochukwe Okolo before Harry Rouse netted a Fairlop Rovers leveller from the spot a minute later. But Bryan Mbenza struck to regain the lead in the first half before adding a second after the break to complete a 3-1 win for Philip, their side lifting the coveted silverware at full-time.
