SENIOR DIVISION

Friday evening saw Sporting Bengal United Reserves fight back to take all three points against Dagenham United after Shayne Bohan, Adam Hussain, Jaiden Odle and Aminur Rahman struck with the goals to win 4-3 despite Pierre Valentine, Adjilson Santo and Tajean Lewis having put Dagenham ahead.

Over at Wodson Park, Ongar Town continued their strong start to the campaign with a thumping 4-0 victory against Frenford Development. Max Galati, William Lockett, Antoniou Fusco and Yuki Edogiawerie scored the goals on the night to hand them another three points.

There was a first win for Haringey Borough Reserves at the fourth attempt, beating Fairlop Rovers 6-2. Billy Barr netted both for Rovers but those were in vain as Ruben Baptista, Luke Von Herkomer, Alexander Nicolaides, Larray Asare-Bediako, Desmond Yobouet and Graeme Trevett struck in reply.

FC Petrocub London returned to the top of the table on Saturday afternoon as they took all three points home from their trip to Wadham Lodge in a 2-0 win over Kulture. Gheorghe Cucos continued his strong form with a brace, netting both to make it four wins from four.

Sitting two points off the pace are London Harts United who remain unbeaten on the back of their 3-1 win at the weekend, defeating Woodford Town Under 23s at Whitbreads. Max Chamberlain scored for Town but that wasn’t quite enough in the end.

It took five goals to separate the sides at Wadham Lodge where Saint City took the spoils in a narrow 3-2 win against Ryan. Sandro Pereira struck two and Richard Seixas scored the other as City remain in the race at the summit.

Greengate District remain unbeaten following elevation to the top flight, earning a narrow 3-2 win of their own with victory over CSM London. Two Ruben Silva efforts and Emmerson Ndaye’s strike took the points with Tyrell Huggins-Solomans and Marco Lavadera netting in reply.

The third 3-2 scoreline of the day came from Parsloes Park where Waltham Forest Borough put a second win on the board with a hard fought win against Chadwell Heath Spartans. Dean Florence, Aaron Blake and Mustafa Hussein scored the goals for the hosts with Billy Mucheri and Ryan O’Connell responding off the bench for Spartans.

PREMIER DIVISION EAST

Old Barkabbeyans are the early leaders following promotion after they returned home victorious from Romford Town Flyers with a 3-0 win under their belt. Yunus Mussa, Tunji Ebun-Cole and Sheku Sillah all struck with goals in the win.

AS Rapid Londra started their new season at Premier level with a win, scoring twice without reply against promoted Condor to sit second. Andi Hotoi scored both goals off the bench to see the visitors win 2-0.

The other 2-0 scoreline from the division came from Barkingside where Bealonians’ debut in the competition saw them net a 2-0 home success against Buckhurst Hill Under 23s, courtesy of an Ashley Farrer double for the hosts.

It was opening day success for Kit Out London who began their new season with a hard fought home win against Motormen at Parsloes Park. Nicholas Evangelou, Charlies Ariwa and Jadon Oyewumi scored the goals in a 3-2 victory.

A cracking game at Westlands saw the game between Athletic Newham Under 23s and Bakers693 end in a 3-3 draw. Bogdan Panescu, Dayson Rosa and William Rodrigues scored for Newham with David Macauley, Lee Harris and Jonathan Ogunsanya netting for Bakers.

PREMIER DIVISION WEST

West Essex Reserves are the early leaders in the West following a solid opening day victory, beating London Cranes in a 4-1 scoreline. Collina Masembe struck for Cranes but West goals from Benito Crosara (2), Luey Young and Myles Joseph proved vital.

Another win for a promoted side saw Old Esthameians make a strong start to life in the second tier with a 4-2 home victory against Stratford East where Nelson Goncalves struck two, Henry Gray and Joe Tavares one apiece in their win.

Over at Aylward Academy, it was a first win for FC Baresi Reserves at the first attempt, winning 3-1 against North East Lions. Jai Perkins scored for Lions but that wasn’t enough in the end as Gabriel Mazur and Angel Angelov goals win it for the hosts.

The other victory came from Loughton where Unitey made it an opening day success, winning 2-1 against Ocean Pacific, the promoted side conceding two Ahmed Dousa goals to slip to defeat.

It ended all square in the final of the games where Newham Wanderers opening match of the season saw them end 1-1 against Vallance in Chadwell Heath. Muhammed Camara scored for Wanderers with Brady Landu scoring for the visitors.

DIVISION ONE EAST

In Division One East, it was a strong start to a maiden campaign with the league for Bealonians Reserves, the debutants securing a 4-1 home success against Romford Town Flyers Reserves. Matthew Ryan, Harry Killick, Dale Young and Freddie Bright scored the goals with Bradley Mott adding the Town effort.

The early leaders are Royal Forest as their first game following promotion saw them net a comfortable looking 5-0 win away at FC Alpha. Stanley Kweya scored twice off the bench with Matthew Deane, Remel Green and Matt Hart striking the others for the Trees.

Also scoring five were Old Parkonians A who earned an opening day success against Dagenham United Reserves. Shane Hovell scored two, Billy Mason, Ben Allen and Bobby White the others in a 5-1 victory.

A seven-goal thriller in Debden saw Loughton Town earn a first three points of the season, edging the game 4-3 against Lymore Gardens Reserves. Owen McKelvey scored a hat-trick with Jake Roberts also on the scoresheet.

It was a winning start for Redbridge Community in their quest to return to tier two, producing a 4-1 opening day win at Lakeside against Chadwell Heath Spartans Reserves. Cuba Gill was in fine form with a hat-trick, Denzel Essuah-Mensah notching the other, Connor Hoffman scoring in reply.

DIVISION ONE WEST

It was a sparkling opening day performance from Changing Lives who racked up 9-0 win against debutants Tajik Unity. Agoro Fuad opened his goals account with a four goal haul, Andrews Ohene-Poku adding two, Nazir Adam and Victor Addai with the others.

Just a few miles away, Parsonage Leys’ opening game of the new season saw them suffer a reverse to debutants, Newbury Forest Reserves, the latter winning 4-1. Denison St Louis scored the Leys goal on debut for the hosts but that proved in vain.

DIVISION TWO

London Academics first game in Division Two saw them go top after the first weekend of fixtures, beating Freetown 6-1. Marvis Idehen struck for the visitors but London braces from Ali Abdalmageed and Terril Blake-Alleyne, plus goals from Salum Abdullah and Olajide Oshunfuyi meant the hosts took the spoils.

It was also an opening day success for CSM London Under 23s who took the early spoils in a close game against Eastside Foundation. Michael Payne and Musa Manneh scored the crucial goals, Tyler Houston-Taylor scoring the East’ consolation, 2-1 the final scoreline.

Debutants Kulture Reserves were up against Glendale on the opening day and it was a point apiece to share the spoils as Moussa Traore’s opener for the hosts was levelled by Valter Correia’s volley in the final quarter, the game ending in a 1-1 draw.

There was another score draw in division’s other game at Lakeside where Thurrock Thameside’s first game saw them record a 3-3 draw against promoted Chingford Harriers. Jamie Catania-Masters struck twice and Matthew Gichuki once for the hosts.

DIVISION THREE

Bocas Jogabonito were the biggest winners on the opening day in Division Three, winning 6-2 against Jays to sit top. Daniel Chapman’s four goals led the way, Jacob McKenzie adding two himself, while Mohamed Adam and Aman Lynch-Stewart struck for Jays.

Over at Bancrofts, it was an opening day success for Buckhurst Way who netted themselves a 3-0 win against debutants City of Westminster, a result which puts the hosts in second spot after the opening round of games.

Completing the action, Old Parkonians B made a winning start against fellow debutants, Upminster Albion, Parks netting the odd goal in five in a 3-2 success. Oliver Botham and James Old scored for Albion but Reece Symons and Emeka Ezeleu goals carried Parks to the win.
