SENIOR DIVISION

The midweek action started on Wednesday where Kulture faced AS Rapid Londra at Noak Hill. Cosmin Tulbure netted for Rapid but Kulture were in great form in front of goal as Landry Gogoa’s hat-trick helped them win 6-1. Kobi Osei, Reon Reid and Eidanas Pravackas added the others.

On Friday night, a terrific contest saw Haringey Borough Under 23s race into a 3-0 lead at Coles Park through two Cheick Ibrahime goals and one from Timi Tinubu. But Waltham Forest Borough fought back and rescued a point at 3-3, Conor Corrigan and Sharn Quinn both on the scoresheet.

Lymore Gardens kept up their challenge for the league title on Saturday, notching all three points in a comprehensive 6-0 away win against Fairlop Rovers in Hainault. Malik Donaldson and Dylan Roberts both scored two with Munnir Said and Alex Coster adding the others.

Over in east London, Kulture made it two wins in three days as they overcame Sporting Hackney at Wadham Lodge in a 2-0 scoreline. Yousuf Hoque and Eidanas Pravackas both struck with goals for the visitors, their seventh league win of the season.

Chadwell Heath Spartans sit a point off the top five with two games to go still, taking a share of the spoils in a 1-1 home draw against a Woodford Town Reserves side playing their last league game of the season. Courtney Holness struck for Spartans with Charles Bowes scoring for Town.

The final game from the division came from Parsloes Park as CSM London and Walthamstow Reserves’ penultimate matches of the season saw Stow take the honours, 3-1 winners to leap up into eleventh spot in the table.

PREMIER DIVISION EAST

It was a vital weekend in Premier Division East where Motormen’s second successive win over Dagenham United meant that it was Greengate District who took the title. Yusuf Cetin and Charlie Landers scored for Dagenham but Motormen ran out 3-2 winners to record a fourth placed finish.

At Lakeside Sports Ground, Redbridge Community took the relegation race into a final weekend of fixtures, recording win number seven this term following a 3-0 home victory against Inter Newbury, a result which leaves the bottom five sides still at risk of relegation.

PREMIER DIVISION WEST

It’s also congratulations to Sporting Bengal United Reserves who secured the Premier Division West title with a 3-0 away victory against North East Lions at Peter May. Omario Rosen, Ouail Akirout and Emmanuel Olasehinde all struck to take their team over the finish line with two games to go.

In the other game played, Stratford East moved up a place into fifth spot with a game to go, taking all three points against Vallance in a 4-2 win. Joseph-Rene Opoku’s brace added to goals from Garvey Tulloch-Jordan and Illias Elmoudden with Erbolot Kozhogulov and Seamus Glancy responding.

DIVISION TWO

In Division Two, double header action saw Old Parkonians A take all three points through a Rowan Newland hat-trick against CSM London Under 23s before the second game ended in a goalless draw with neither side able to break the deadlock.

That result meant that Glendale could avoid the drop with a win and that was what they achieved, beating Chadwell Heath Spartans 3-0 at Fairlop through two Bruno Gomes goals and an Emmanuel Ejembi effort.

DIVISION THREE

The race for promotion in Division Three will go to the final game after Changing Lives moved to within a win of taking second place with a 6-1 away victory against Redbridge Community Reserves. Agoro Fuad netted four, Ussri Badawi and Andrews Ohene-Poku scoring the others.

Buckhurst Way’s last game of the campaign saw them host Beckton Sporting Club at Bancrofts, Buckhurst producing a 4-2 winning performance to earn win number eight. Dolapo Gbadamosi, Lenny Stead, Vandyke Dapaah and Ian Ahearne were all on the scoresheet.

COUNTY CUP

It was BBC Essex Premier Cup Final action on Wednesday evening as Frenford Development took on Corinthians at New Lodge. Corinthians headed into the lead during the first half before second half goals saw the Olympian side eventually prevail in a 3-0 result, ending a terrific run for Frenford this year.
