COUNTY CUP

It's congratulations to Old Barkabbeyans Reserves who are Essex Junior Trophy Finalists this season, defeating Leigh Ramblers A in a 6-1 win at South Park Drive on Saturday to secure their place in the final against Brentwood Athletic in April.

Condor's trip to Essex Olympian League opposition wasn't quite as fruitful, falling at the semi-final hurdle on Saturday after a 5-2 away defeat against Broomfield in the Essex Junior Cup, seeing their involvement in this competition reaching an end.

SENIOR DIVISION

Leaders, Philip United, brought up their ton of goals on Friday night, moving into three figures with a thumping 9-2 home win against Kulture at Oakside. Eidanas Pravackas and Landry Gogoa both scored for the visitors but those proved just consolation.

Lymore Gardens remain in second and with three vital games in hand, their trip to Mark Hall on Saturday seeing them earn another good win, defeating Ongar Town in a 3-1 scoreline through two goals from Dylan Roberts and one from Malik Donaldson. Butrint Lecaj struck the Town effort in reply.

In matters affecting the other end of the table, Bakers693 took their points tally into double figures keep hopes alive after a 3-2 away win against Chadwell Heath Spartans at The Drive. Peter Adeleye and Thomas Callagher struck for Spartans but those proved not quite enough.

AS Rapid Londra's place in the top flight is hanging by a thread after a vital home defeat against fellow relegation threatened Waltham Forest Borough at Lakeside. Andrew Rowe struck twice, Chris Huggins, Lionel Stone and Dean Florence with others in a 5-0 Borough success.

With ten games to go, Fairlop Rovers continue their push for survival with another three points, this time taking all three points in their 2-0 home success against Walthamstow Reserves. Dylan Scutt and Harry Rouse both netted to take Rovers up to seven wins for the season.

Haringey Borough Under 23s moved up into third place in emphatic fashion, their trip to Woodford Town Reserves proving a fruitful trip, returning with all three points in a 4-0 victory. Blerdon Kurtolli, Sertan Kirman, Louis Maffia and Graeme Trevett all hit the back of the net for Borough.

A couple of single goal wins round off the action, beginning at Parsloes Park where CSM London edged a close match with Sporting Hackney, the hosts netting the only goal of game to win it 1-0. That result sees CSM sit in fifth while the Parrots remain twelve points adrift with seven games to go.

Completing the top flight round-up, another game settled by a single goal was the FC Petrocub London trip to Frenford Development where the visitors fired that only effort to win 1-0, a result which saw them move up into eighth spot and onto nine wins for the season.

PREMIER DIVISION CUP

The first league cup finalist was confirmed on Saturday at Lakeside where a single goal in the game between FC Baresi Reserves and Inter Newbury was all that seperated the teams in a 1-0 Inter win, Kenny Arda scoring that all important effort to put his side into the showpiece final.

The semi-final line-up was confirmed in the other half of the draw where Dagenham United took their place in the last four after finishing 2-2 with Romford Town Flyers in normal time, Derek Boakye and Yaya Jau efforts equalled by Town efforts from Erion Tmava and Seyhan Cucel. United then held their nerve for a shootout win.

PREMIER DIVISION EAST

Kit Out London's final game of the season saw them move top of the table, a high scoring 3-3 draw with Waltham Abbey A the end result. Ashraf Sheikh, Faith Mustafa and Ralph Vincent-Joseph scored the Kit Out goals as they now must sit and wait to see what the chasing sides can do below them.

In matters at the other end of the table, Something From Nothing have put themselves in a strong position to avoid the drop, moving seventh after a local derby victory against co-tenants Motormen at Fairlop Oak. The hosts were 3-0 winners, a result which places them four points clear of danger.

PREMIER DIVISION WEST

There was a big result at the top for Saint City who took three vital points in the title chase following a 2-1 home win against Sporting Bengal United Reserves at Flanders. Richard Seixas and Liam Adams scored the goals that mattered, rendering Emmanuel Olasehinde's goal as consolation for the visitors.

Second placed Newham Wanderers remain well placed to continue their push for promotion and secured all three points at Vallance, 4-2 winners in Newbury Park despite goals from Brady Landu and Michael Ogunbo from the hosts. Umar Zeb scored twice in reply, Joao Mendes and Alexandre Lampreia also scoring.

Those results also allowed for North East Lions to make up ground and move into the top three, earning themselves a 2-1 home win against London Cranes in Walthamstow. James Codling was the difference between the sides, scoring both goals for Lions.

Completing the West action, Priory Park Rangers and Unitey started the day with two points between them in mid-table and that was the way it stayed by full-time, the teams sharing the spoils in a 1-1 draw at Hackney Marshes, both hovering just above the drop zone.

DIVISION ONE

In Division One, the big top end of the table game saw Old Esthameians taking on Ocean Pacific at Fords. The sides were well matched on the day with the game ending in a 1-1 draw, Joe Higgins netting the E's goal to take a share of the points.

Over at Noak Hill, Loughton Town secured a vital win in their fight to avoid the drop, taking all three points against an in-form FC Alpha side. Town were 5-2 winners with Tom Osmond's hat-trick leading the way, Jake Roberts and Pharjeon Hutchinson scored the others, Liviu Nistreanu and Igor Mamulat netting in reply.

Also earning themselves an important win were Leyton City who travelled to Parsloes Park to take on Lymore Gardens Under 23s. It was City leaving the happier of the sides, Borja Llorente scoring all three goals for his team in a 3-0 victory.

DIVISION TWO

In Division Two, Old Parkonians A were in scoring form in Barkingside, netting seven without reply in a rampant 7-0 home success against Saint City Reserves. Charlie Fiander scored a hat-trick, Burt Cardy and Aaron Leggett adding braces for their team.

There was a closely fought game at Parsloes Park where Chadwell Heath Spartans Reserves and Royal Forest went up against each other, the fixture ending level at 2-2 to take a point each. Brodie Gingell and Ryan Lawless both struck for Spartas with Stanley Kweya and Fifi Banin netting for Forest in response.

That result gave Parsonage Leys the chance to close the gap and go level at the top of the table with a win against CSM London Under 23s and they duly obliged. Bert Greenwood scored twice for Parsonage to net their eleventh win of the year.

There was a first win of the season for Haringey United who took the spoils in their home clash with Glendale at Hackney Marshes. Braulio Costa and Bruno Costa struck with goals for the Dales but Haringey scored four of their own to win the game 4-2.

There was a five-goal thriller to round off the action as Dagenham United Reserves edged out Ongar Town Reserves by the odd goal, United 3-2 winners at Robert Clack courtesy of a couple of Renato Molaudzi goals. George Whalley and Tekcan Tek struck the Town goals in consolation.

DIVISION THREE

IONA Wheels have moved to the cusp of securing the league title in Division Three, their 3-1 home win against London Academics and other results meaning silverware is close. Jordan Dixon-Walker struck for the visitors but two Joshua Gibbins goals and a Luke Fearne effort saw Wheels take the points.

Chingford Harriers have leapt up inot second place in the table with five games to go, defeating fellow promotion rivals Changing Lives in a 4-2 scoreline at Peter May. Regan Marshall, Andrew Bowring, Huai-Ginn Oliver and Dushane Powell all struck with Ussri Badawi scoring twice in reply.

Fifth placed Romford Town Flyers Reserves closed the gaps on the sides above with a strong home winning performance, 5-0 victors on Saturday against Cobra. Bubacarr Touray scored twice, Alan Butt, Peter Brinton-Quinn and Clinton Oduku were on the scoresheet for Town in the win.

It was double delight for Jays in a double header victory on Saturday, winning 4-1 in game one against Beckton Sporting Club with Harrison Happe-Heatley netting two and one each from Aman Lynch-Stewart and Ricky Yorke. Riley Salek-Taghizadeh, Harrison Happe-Heatley and Ricky Yorke then all struck again in game two as Jays won that 3-0.

Buckhurst Way were in scoring form at the weekend, travelling to Hackney Marshes and scoring seven in their game with Just Play, 7-2 the final scoreline. Liam Wallis and Tom Glattback both struck twice, Lenny Stead, George Martin and Archie Jenkins adding the others.
