WEEK 27 REVIEW: Round-up of all the EAL league and cup action from the weekend

SENIOR DIVISION
The top-flight action began on Friday evening as Lymore Gardens continued a strong run of form, coming from behind to a Dean Florence goal for Waltham Forest Borough to prevail in a 3-1 win by the end.
On Saturday afternoon, Philip United responded that that result by adding another win to their record, remaining top after a 4-2 away victory against Chadwell Heath Spartans, overcoming goals from Adeleye and Fanga.
Not too far away at The Drive, it was also a win for Frenford Development as their home clash with Bakers693 saw them take all three points in a 5-1 win. Hussain, Shillingford, Iguisi, Ozuaciksoz and Samuels netted the hosts' goals.
Also in scoring form were Ongar Town who put four away against Haringey Borough Under 23s in a 4-2 home victory at Mark Hall. Alexander Nicolaides scored two for Borough but Max Galati's brace, Bown and Lockett goals won it for Town.
At Ashton Playing Fields, Woodford Town Reserves were up against CSM London on Saturday afternoon and it was Town who left the happier of the two sides with Arthur Massingham scoring two and Fionn O'Connell one in a 3-0 home win.
It took just a single goal to determine the outcome of the three points at Lakeside Sports Ground where Walthamstow Reserves left with three valauable points, edging the contest with AS Rapid Londra 1-0.
PREMIER DIVISION EAST
Dagenham United made the most of results in the East division to further press their title credentials, winning 3-1 in their home clash with FC Baresi Reserves. Yaya Jau scored twice for United with Rui Monteiro-Da-Costa netting the visitors' consolation.
That result was all the more important as fellow chasers Greengate District and Barkingside Reserves had to settle for a share of the spoils in a 2-2 draw. Francis Mampolo and Kaylan Hemmings scored for 'Side but Ruben Silva and Jorge Agostinho goals levelled it.
Kit Out London were in fine scoring form in their penultimate league match on Saturday, netting four goals without reply against Something From Nothing in a 4-0 scoreline. Fatih Mustafa's brace, Ryan Nkansah and Bobby Brown found the back of the net.
Also scoring four goals in a vital game was Waltham Abbey A who gave themselves hope of beating the drop after a successful trip to Motormen, returning from Hainault with all three points after a 4-1 victory. Trotman grabbed the Motormen goal in consolation.
Inter Newbury also scored four, taking all three points against Romford Town Flyers, 4-2. Two Dawid Potoczek goals plus one each from Kenny Arda and Charlies KIbuuka were enough to overcome Romford goals from Bradley Mott and Rhys Ofori.
PREMIER DIVISION WEST
Vallance were the biggest winners of the day in the West division, scoring seven in their game with London Park City, 7-3 the final scoreline. Brady Landu's hat-trick led the way with Genus, Hoque, Ogunbo and Glancey also netting.
Straford East were another side making a move up the standings, up to fifth place after they recorded a 2-0 local derby victory at home against title chasing Newham Wanderers at Flanders, Jervais Kpeto and Joseph-Rene Opoku scoring the goals.
Another of the title chasers also saw points dropped as Sporting Bengal United Reserves were held to a 1-1 draw against London Cranes at Flanders, just the second time Sporting have had points taken off of them.
DIVISION ONE CUP
FC Alpha have moved to within ninety minutes of a possible cup final as they ran riot in front of goal, netting an 8-1 quarter-final win away at Freetown. Denis Musteata was hungry for goals, netting five, Stanislav Baciu, Liviu Nistreanu and Igor Mamulat also on target.
DIVISION ONE
After last week's cup disappointment, Condor were back to winning ways ahead of next week's county cup semi-final on Saturday, securing a closely fought 2-1 win against Leyton City at Mayesbrook Park.
DIVISION TWO CUP
Ongar Town Reserves are through to the semi-finals in emphatic style, notching a 15-2 win against Haringey United. Romario Maloney scored five, Akachukwu Ezeemo a hat-trick, George Whalley two, the others from Asewando, Stevenson, Abdoulhakim, Palmer and Ruse.
Also into the last four are Parsonage Leys who bounced back well from their recent league reverse to net a semi-final place, scoring both of the game's goals in a 2-0 win against Old Parkonians A at Grange Paddocks.
DIVISION TWO
Royal Forest secured another vital win but not without a battle against Saint City Reserves, Forest edging their clash by the odd goal in five, 3-2 winners through goals from Tommy Ainsworth, Cian Power and Daniel Thompson, Adams with both City goals in reply.
There was a vital win for Glendale in their home clash with CSM London Under 23s at Fairlop Oak, recording a third league win in a 4-1 scoreline. Wesley Antonio scored the first and last of those efforts with Emmanuel and Idris also on the scoresheet.
Over at South Park Drive, Old Barkabbeyans Reserves warmed up for their county cup semi-final with an important home win against Chadwell Heath Spartans Reserves. Addo scored for Spartans with Jimack, Ebun-Cole and Andrews helping Barks win 3-1.
DIVISION THREE CUP
Buckhurst Way confirmed their semi-final place in emphatic style, netting a big 8-1 win against Cobra at Parsloes Park. Saint-Gyamfi and Jenkins both scored two, Dapaah, Wallis, Talbot and Oakford on the scoresheet for Way with Painter scoring in reply.
Over at Lakeside in the early kick-off, Jays met Chingford Harriers once again with a single goal all that could seperate the sides in the quarter-final. Huai-Ginn Oliver was that scorer for Harriers, netting them a place in the last four.
DIVISION THREE
A five-goal thriller rounds off the weekend's action as London Academics took all three points in a 3-2 win at Beckton Sporting Club. Olajide Oshunfuyi scored two and Gabriel Marinov one for the visitors.
