WEEK 26 REVIEW: Round-up of all the EAL league and cup action from the weekend

FENTON CUP
The last semi-finalist in the Fenton Cup was determined on Saturday where Philip United made the trip to take on Waltham Abbey A in the last eight. Despite the division advantage, a single Philip goal was the only scoring moment in a 1-0 success for the leaders.
SENIOR DIVISION CUP
On Wednesday evening, cup quarter-final action saw Woodford Town Reserves at home against Ongar Town at Ashton Playing Fields. Kian McEvoy struck for the hosts but Ongar goals from William Lockett, Scout Bown, Butrint Lecaj and Finlay Cook meant Town won the tie 4-1.
Then on Thursday evening, the holders, Walthamstow Reserves entertained previous winners of the competition, FC Petrocub in their clash at Peter May. This one saw just a single goal however with Dorin Sirbu's effort the only of a game in a 1-0 Petrocub win.
SENIOR DIVISION
The top-flight action started on Friday where Lymore Gardens and CSM London renewed acquantancies at Parsloes Park with Lymore taking the honours in a 3-1 win, goals from Munnir Saad, Malik Donaldson and Alex Coster. Ibrahim Sidibe netted for CSM in reply.
Just a few yards away, Bakers693 were hosts to a Haringey Borough Under 23s teams with the hosts need vital points. And although Mario Embalo scored for Bakers, Louis Maffia and Sertan Kirman efforts in reply for Borough meant their side left 2-1 winners.
There was an important win for Fairlop Rovers in Hainault as they earned themselves a vital three point haul with a 3-1 win against Frenford Development. Thomas Harford struck for the visitors but that proved not quite enough, Rovers taking the points.
Also scoring three in a winning performance were Waltham Forest Borough who also kept themselves in the mix to avoid the drop after a 3-0 home win against Sporting Hackney. Samir Bihmoutine's brace and a Mustafa Hussein effort completed the scoring.
After Thursday night's performance, Walthamstow Reserves bounced straight back into winning ways in the league to keep themselves clear of danger, beating Kulture in a 7-2 scoreline at Wadham Lodge.
Over at Lakeside Sports Ground, AS Rapid Londra earned themselves a point in a high-scoring 3-3 draw against FC Petrocub London. Jan Katuscak's brace and Bogdan Toana accounted for Rapid goals with Nicolai Gutu netting two and Ion Spinu one in reply.
Ongar Town and Woodford Town Reserves met at Mark Hall in the reverse of Wednesday night's match-up, this time the game ending in a 1-1 draw to share the spoils. William Lockett scored once again for Town with Henry Bird swooping in for Town's effort.
PREMIER DIVISION CUP
FC Baresi Reserves earned themselves a place in the semi-finals of the Premier Division Cup next month as they came away 3-1 winners from Unitey. Mubarak Mohammed scored for the hosts with Ronnie Karayianni's brace and a Melvine Boni goal putting their team through.
Inter Newbury who came through 5-3 in an eight-goal thriller with Something From Nothing in their quarter-final. Ikenna Ogazi scoring two and Nuno Espadaneira one for SFN with Chaka Barnett's brace and one each from Deividas Sertvietis, Shaquille Ishmael and Reda El Ghaibouz in response for the visitors.
PREMIER DIVISION EAST
Barkingside Reserves kept themselves in the race for promotion in the East division following the weekend's results, coming through with all three points in a 5-3 home victory against Redbridge Community.
On an adjacent pitch, it was all square in the game between Kit Out London and Motormen who had to settle for a point each in a 2-2 draw. Ryan Nkansah and Charlies Ariwa both scored for Kit out with Harvin Athwal and Mahmut Emirali responding for the visitors.
PREMIER DIVISION WEST
The biggest winners of the day were Stratford East who racked up eleven goals without reply, travelling to Seven Kings High School to take on London Park City. The visitors were 11-0 winners on the day, carrying them up into sixth spot in the table.
There were a couple of seven-goal thrillers at Fords, firstly as North East Lions took all three points with a late winner in a 4-3 victory against Vallance. Kelvin Gomes's double and Brady Landu scored for the hosts but a four-goal debut for Kyan Rostoks stole the show for Lions.
Not far away on an adjacent pitch, Sporting Bengal United Reserves had to hold off a resurgent Priory Park Rangers side who have been in good form themselves, Sporting winning 4-3. Emmanuel Olasehinde scored two, Tanvir Ahmed and Ilyasse Ham the others.
Down at Flanders Playing Fields, Saint City's latest endeavours saw them with a home clash against local rivals Newham Wanderers. Jayke Welch scored for the hosts but Wanderers netted three in a 3-1 scoreline, ramping up the pressure on the leaders.
DIVISION ONE CUP
A titanic tussle in the Division One Cup saw two of the season's form sides meet at Peter May where Ocean Pacific earned a place in the semi-final following a 3-1 win against Condor. Ocean had Norlan Bautista to thank, scoring all three goals for his side.
DIVISION ONE
Loughton Town were the biggest winners of the day in Division One, earning themselves vital points on the road following a 5-1 victory away at Leyton City. Tom Osmond's hat-trick, Owen McKelvey and Will Osmond accounted for the Town goals with Awal Lawal scoring for City.
There was a big result at Fords on Saturday where title chasing Old Esthameians gave up some ground at the top of the table after slipping to a 2-0 home defeat against West Essex Reserves, putting sides around them in a better position.
FC Alpha's latest match came from Noak Hill where they were facing a Lymore Gardens Under 23s side.It took five goals to seperate the sides, Alpha edging it 3-2 thanks to two Serghei Scupoi efforts and a Mihai Ivanov strike.
The final game saw six goals shared in the game between Old Barkabbeyans and Freetown, the relegation threatened visitors travelling to South Park Drive and taking a point in a 3-3 draw, aided by Sergo Ndafa's hat-trick.
DIVISION TWO
Royal Forest asserted themselves as title favourites but had plenty to do in an exhillerating 7-5 home win against Glendale on Saturday. Stanley Kweya scored two, Leigham Stone, Joe Owers, Sam Gregory, Tommy Ainsworth and Remel Green. Abdulair Ahmed, Wesley Antonio, Braulio Costa, Emmanuel Ejembi and Peter Elachi netted the Dales goals in reply.
That result proved all the more important as Parsonage Leys lost ground in the race for the top, losing by the odd goal in a 2-1 defeat against Dagenham United Reserves. Yaya Jau scored twice for the hosts to hand themselves a big three point haul.
Over at Parsloes Park, Jack Chawner proved the difference between the sides as his hat-trick helped Chadwell Heath Spartans Reserves net a 4-2 win against Ongar Town Reserves. Jaeden Addo scored the other with Romario Maloney and Harry Palmer scoring for Town.
Down at Fords Sports & Social, Saint City Reserves picked up a vital three points, edging their game with CSM London Under 23s by the goals in a 2-1 win. Denison St Louis and Carlos Sanchez struck for City with their goals.
DIVISION THREE
Changing Lives record an important win at the weekend to keep them clear in second place following a 3-2 away win against Jays. Oumar Diambo, Agoro Duad and Zaharadeen Yakubu scored the goals for Lives to see them stay in the promotion places.
Third placed Chingford Harriers recorded another win, 5-1 victors against Romford Town Flyers Reserves on Saturday. Regan Marshall and Huai-Ginn Oliver both scored twice and Connor Bailey once with Harry Glenister scoring the Town goal in consolation.
COUNTY CUP
Old Parkonians A secured a place in the semi-finals of this season's AFA Minor Cup, earning their place with a last eight win on Saturday against Old Manorians Fourths, 3-1 winners on the day.
