WEEK 25 REVIEW: Round-up of all the EAL league and cup action from the weekend

SENIOR DIVISION CUP
Last Monday evening saw the latest quarter-final action in the Senior Division Cup with Lymore Gardens taking on Kulture at Oakside, the game ending locked at 1-1 through goals from Tyrique Peters for the hosts and Scott Durojaiye for the the visitors. Kulture then won the shootout 5-4 to progress to the semi-finals.
SENIOR DIVISION
On Friday night, one of the clashes of the weekend saw Lymore Gardens return to action as they faced Philip United at Oakside. Some super goals saw Lymore ahead early with Dylan Roberts' brace and Tyrique Peters scoring again, Joshua Wisdom netting in consolation for Philip as the hosts ran out 3-1 victors.
Over at Coles Park, Haringey Borough Under 23s were at home with the visit of Walthamstow Reserves on Friday. A close game saw the teams share the spoils with Louis Maffia and Lamar Ellis netting for Borough while Joshua Assouman and Callum Fisher responded for Stow to make it 2-2.
There were plenty of goals also on Saturday afternoon, beginning in north east London where CSM London took all three points home with them after a 6-2 win against Kulture. Marco Lavadera scored twice with Nana Sarfo, Luke McElroy, Dylan Flynn and Jesse Jones finding the back of the net.
Down at Noak Hill, FC Petrocub London went up against Sporting Hackney who were looking to continue their recent good form in their quest to avoid relegation. But a narrow win for Petrocub was the outcome by the end with 2-1 the final scoreline.
It was also victory for Ongar Town who were at home at Mark Hall against Bakers693. The home side were in top form in front of goal, scoring six as Butrunt Lecaj's hat-trick, a brace from Scout Bown and Finlay Cook all netted in a 6-1 result.
PREMIER DIVISION CUP
It was the first quarter-final in the Premier Division Cup where Barkingside Reserves went up against Sporting Bengal United Reserves, ending locked at 2-2 by the end, Umar Abdullah and Emmanuel Olasehinde netting. Sporting then took the tie in the shootout, winning 4-3 to make another semi-final.
PREMIER DIVISION EAST
The top game in the East division came from Robert Clack where title chasing sides Dagenham United and Greengate District went toe-to-toe. It was Greengate who left victorious with Ruben Silva, Olu Akinola and Bradley O'Mara scoring in a 3-1 win, Derek Boakye scoring the Dagenham consolation.
Redbridge Community and Kit Out London met at Lakeside Sports Ground, combining for six goals as Fatih Mustafa's hat-trick set Kit out on the way to victory. Charles Ariwa scored the other goal with Jordi Riaco and Yasser Maalin scoring the others in a 4-2 victory for the visitors.
PREMIER DIVISION WEST
At Parsloes Park, there was a hugely important win for Priory Park Rangers who took all three points off the league leaders, Saint City, in a 3-2 win. Alberto Jalo and Derek Adu struck with the goals for City but those proved not quite enough in the end.
DIVISION ONE
In Division One, Old Barkabbeyans got back to winning ways with a strong home performance against FC Alpha at South Park Drive. Michael Ryder scored two, Bruce Akatwijuka, Chris Plummer, Tyler Turner and Jay Elliott all scored in a 6-2 victory with Igor Mamulat and Denis Musteata netting the Alpha consolations.
There was alsao victory for Leyton City who moved up into sixth place in the table with a fourth win, beating Freetown 3-1 in Dagenham. Melchisedek Kalenga's brace and a Daniel Ionga effort were enough on the day to give three points to the visitors.
Over in Walthamstow, the other game from the division came from Wadham Lodge as West Essex Reserves took on relegation threatened Lymore Gardens Under 23s. Despite the points deficit, it was Lymore who took victory here, winning 3-0 to move closer to safety.
DIVISION TWO CUP
In the Division Two Cup, Old Barkabbeyans Reserves continued their good form, recording a solid 5-0 away win against Saint City Reserves in the first round. Tunji Ebun-Cole scored a hat-trick with Simon Draper and Makhily Diaby also on the scoresheet to help their side through,.
DIVISION TWO
There were plenty of goals at Hackney Marshes where Ongar Town Reserves produced the goods in a 9-4 away win against Haringey United. Ebenezer Fasoranti scored a hat-trick, Kailen Elmoumni, Bailey Hart and Romario Maloney each scored twice for Town. Jermaine Da Costa's brace, Dwayne Smith and Sanchez Smith netted for the United goals in reply.
Down at Parsloes Park, hosts Chadwell Heath Spartans Reserves were in winning form against Dagenham United Reserves, Spartans winning the game 4-1. Bradley Bennett scored two, Brodie Gingell and Jamie Pooley the others while Ibrahim Kamara scored for Dagenham in consolation.
DIVISION THREE
IONA Wheels extended their winning record with another victory at the weekend, this time taking all three points in a 3-1 away win against Romford Town Flyers Reserves. Harry Glenister scored for Town but Kai Geere, Luke Fearne and Tafari Miller goals meant it was Wheels rolling to the win.
There was a big win for Just Play on the road as the east London side made the trip across to Dagenham on Saturday to take on Cobra at Parsloes Park. The visitors racked up five goals without reply in a 5-0 win, their sixth win of the season.
Also picking up a win and a cleansheet were London Academics who had home advantage in their latest league fixture with Beckton Sporting Club the visitors to the Marshes. London were 4-0 winners in game, their eighth league win of the season.
Sitting just a point behind are fourth placed Chingford Harriers who remain a point behind with a game in hand after picking up their own eighth win, taking home all three points from Jays on Saturday in a 2-0 win. Nicolas Kypri and Regan Marshall scored the goals to make it a Harriers away day win.
COUNTY CUP
In the BBC Essex Premier Cup quarter-finals, Frenford Development had a long away trip down to the south of the county on Saturday, leading early in the game against Old Southendians before the hosts made the most of defensive errors to win the tie 4-2.
It was better news up at Noak Hill where Condor moved into the semi-finals of the AFA Senior Novets Cup after a comprehensive home victory against Old Guildfordians Reserves, winning 7-0. They will now face Winchmore Hill sixths in the semi-final in March.
