WEEK 21 REVIEW: Round-up of all the EAL league and cup action from the weekend

SENIOR DIVISION
With weather impacting yet another weekend of football, a frosty Friday night saw just one game survive with Lymore Gardens earning themselves an important three points with a home success against CSM London at Oakside. Dylan Roberts struck twice with Malik Donaldson and Tyrique Peters also netting in a 4-1 victory, Dylan Flynn scoring CSM's goal in consolation.
There was just the one Senior game to survive on Saturday afternoon also and that saw a key game towards the bottom end of the table between two sides with work to do to avoid the drop. AS Rapid Londra were the side in top form on the day though, netting a hugely important 7-3 success against Fairlop Rovers to take home all three points from Lakeside.
PREMIER DIVISION CUP
There were three second round ties completed in the Premier Cup, beginning with Inter Newbury's away day success at Noak Hill, the an all-East derby seeing them take on Greengate District for a place in the last eight. A goal each from Chris Micoli, Rede El Ghaibouz and Abdouaziz Jeng were too much for the hosts as Inter won it 3-1, overcoming Olu Akinola's goal for the hosts.
Also scoring three in an away victory were Barkingside Reserves who bounced back from their defeat last time out to earn a place in the quarter-finals of the competition, defeating Kit Out London in a Parsloes Park derby match. 'Side struck three times to win the game 3-0, moving just two performances away from a potential final appearance.
The other game from the competition came from Robert Clack and saw Dagenham United up against West division opposition, an in-form Newham Wanderers side the team to visit at the weekend. A close game was settled by the odd goal in three with Bryan Henry and Yusuf Cetin both netting for Dagenham, their efforts carrying the team to a 2-1 win and a place in the last eight.
PREMIER DIVISION EAST
In Premier DIvision East, the early kick-off came from Lakeside Sports Ground also as FC Baresi Reserves turned in one of their stronger performances of the season to net a big 6-1 home win against co-tenants, Redbridge Community. Kishawn James scored a brace, Tori Rendall, Abir Kabir, Qusay Mohammed and Alysson Paulo also on the scoresheet to take all three points.
DIVISION ONE
There was a big result affecting both ends of the table in Division One as Old Barkabbeyans took on an Old Esthameians side flying high towards the top on Saturday. An exciting game saw the teams share seven goals with Barks taking a 4-3 win courtesy of a Jay Elliott hat-trick and Bruce Akatwijuka's goal. Brad and Danny Harris scored the E's goals in consolation.
Over in east London, another weather-surviving 3G fixture pitted West Essex Reserves at home against a Freetown side needing points desperately to beat the drop this year. West though left the ground the happier after edging a close game by the odd goal, a 2-1 victory for the hosts moving them closer to the sides in the top four just above them.
DIVISION TWO
The big result in Division Two came from Parsloes Park and that saw Chadwell Heath Spartans Reserves lose ground on the race for the title, visitors Old Barkabbeyans Reserves taking the honours by the odd goal in three in a 2-1 scoreline. Roberto Dragut scored for the hosts but Barks goals from Henry Lennon and Simon Draper meant the result went their way.
That same scoreline was mirrored in another of the games down at Castle Green Leisure Centre where Saint City Reserves were in action with a home fixture against Ongar Town Reserves.Hamdun Abdulkarim and Kenneth Obananya both scored for CIty to help their team take three points with Sam Krueger scoring in consolation for the visitors, 2-1 the scoreline,
DIVISION THREE
There was just the one result in Division Three and that saw IONA Wheels regain some momentum in their race for the title, netting four goals without reply against Redbridge Community Reserves at Parsloes Park. Jack Stockdale struck twice with Luke Fearne and Jeffrey Nketia adding the others to a 4-0 winning performance for the Wheels.
COUNTY CUP
It was fourth round day in the Essex Junior Cup and the league's remainining representatives were Condor who faced a home tie against a Pitsea Athletic Reserves side from the Olympian League. Condor broke the deadlock mid-way through the first half and remained in control to win the game 4-0 by the end, earning a place in the quarter-finals against either Roydon or Leigh Ramblers Reserves.
