WEEK 37 REVIEW: Big St Francis victory rounds off 2017/18 football season

The last day of a very long 2017/18 season was played at the weekend with just a single match rounding off the action as St Francis made their way to face Rainham Working Mens Club in Division Two.
After a highly competitive first half hich Rainham had edged in the goal scoring chance stakes, the bulk of the action was in the second half as the baking sun took it’s toll on tired legs with Saints making their hosts pay for the missed chances. Benjamin George scored twice for them with Kuzi Karembera, Jerard Cabey, Joshua Pereira-Barker and Christopher Pereira also netting to earn St Francis a 6-2 win.
