Premier Division champions, Chingford Athletic, hosted May & Baker EC A in their final match of the season with both sides looking to end the season on a high. And it was Bakers who raced into a two goal lead at half-time before adding a third in the second period without reply to run out 3-0 winners on the day. James Bailey, Carl Patten and Joshua Lowbridge were the men on target.

Jolof Sports Club were confirmed as Premier Division runners-up, ending just a single point off the pace after leading the division for much of the season. Congratulations to them on their second placed finish.

It's been a busy week for St John's Deaf who, after winning their BDF National Cup Final last Saturday in Yorkshire,  travelled to Denmark to take part in the Deaf Champions League. Undefeated after their two group games, they qualified for the semi-final where they beat a fancied Greek side, POK Athens, on penalties to make the final of the competition. In the final, they were finally beaten 2-0 by Turkish side, Istanbul Sessizler, to finish the competition as runners-up which was a tremendous achievement. Back in the UK, they had their sixth game of the week on Sunday as they travelled to Nuneaton Borough to take on Fulham Deaf in the English Deaf Football National Cup Final. Unfortunately, after their exertions of the week, they ended up losing 2-0 to their London rivals to bring to an end their busy fixture list.
