It is with great sadness that we report the sad passing of long standing Jays FC club official, Graham Burns.
Graham’s involvement in local football stretches back many years with Jays FC, having held a number of coaching, managerial and official roles across both the youth and adult sections of the club.
He helped the Jays mens side transition into adult football in 2024, leading them to their first silverware in the EAL, winning the Division 3 Cup at Parkside back in May.
The league wishes to offer it’s sincerest condolences to all of Graham's family and friends at this difficult time.
We kindly ask all clubs to conduct a minute’s silence at upcoming fixtures to remember and reflect on Graham's contributions to grassroots football.
