The start of another new season is fast approaching with less than twenty four hours until the 2018/19 season gets underway tomorrow.

As with every season, there is a renewed optimism throughout the league as everybody dares to dream that it might be their season for a piece of league glory or a good run in the cup competitions - this year will be no different. We welcome over twenty news teams into the league with open arms and wish the very best of luck to everybody taking part.

In the Senior Division, one of those new clubs makes their competitive debut as London Park City welcome ACD United to Seven Kings. Two of the promoted sides last season come face to face with Docklands Albion travelling to face Singh Sabha Barking. Lopes Tavares London, fresh from their recent elevation into senior football meet another senior reserve side in the shape of cup holders West Essex Reserves.

In Division One, promoted Chingford Athletic Reserves open up against another promoted side, Chigwell, while Chingford United make their debut in a home match against Melbourne Sports. Yet another Chingford based side, Rapid Chingford, take on FC Baresi in a local derby with Sporting Hackney Under 23s completing the division’s action with the visit of Lymore Gardens.

The Division Two action commences with two of the league’s new sides going head-to-head as Puma Kings go the Hackney Marshes to take on Eastside. Inter Plaistow will be hoping to start an improved campaign with Flyers the visitors to West Ham Memorial Park in Week 1. Old Esthameians will face familiar opposition as they take on CSM London, the core the latter having taken on the E’s last season under the Kitroom banner.

Opening day fixture action in Division Three sees all three promoted sides in action with runaway league winners last year, Haver Town Reserves, opening up their season against Royal Forest. Brook City start life in Division Three with the visit of Glendale while Frenford A meet Custom House United with both sides hoping for improved seasons this time around.

There are a number of good looking fixtures in Division Four where an early Loughton derby match sees Debden Park take on local neighbours Loughton Lions. Chigwell Mens Club start life in the league with a home clash against Brentwood United Reserves while Dagenham United Reserves will be looking for points in their opening day encounter with new side, Soul Youth.

We wish everybody in action tomorrow the very best of luck for the season ahead. We hope it is an enjoyable season for all involved and we look forward to taking in plenty of action once again this year.
