BBC ESSEX SATURDAY PREMIER CUP

Docklands Albion will become the first side to represent the league in the highest competition available to "grassroots" clubs as they take their place in the opening round of the competition in September. They will take on Essex Olympian Premier Division outfit, Springfield, who finished third in the league last season in what looks like a really intriguing tie.

Chingford Athletic Reserves move into this competition for the first time having seen their first team counterparts lift the crown a couple of seasons ago. Chingford travel to Springfield Reserves in the first of a number of EAL vs Olympian match-ups with Three Colts going to Old Barkabbeyans in round two. Lymore Gardens will be on the road with a trip to Hainault to face Newbury Forest Reserves while Ryan Reserves play host to Toby Reserves in their own tie.
