The Fenton Cup competition reaches it's conclusion on Monday evening as DT FC face Rapid Chingford at Leyton Orient for the right to lift the trophy - kick off 7.30pm.

Billy Cove's DT side go into the game as the favourites having sealed the league title last month by a five point margin while finishing thirty points and seven places ahead of Rapid in the final standings though both fixtures were closer than that might suggest. DT's run in the competition began in the first round proper as they edged past Dagenham United in a 3-2 result before another close victory, seeing off rivals Woodford East in the last sixteen, winning 1-0. The quarter finals saw them defeat Oakside 6-2 before then coming through a tough battle with Jolof Sports which saw them 1-0 winners, confirming their place in Monday's showpiece final at the Orient.

In the other dug out, Florin Florea's Rapid Chingford side take their place in their maiden cup final as a club since their formation in 2018 and will reflect positively on a season that has seen them finish comfortably in mid-table in their first season at step 7, despite an indifferent start to the campaign. Their run to the final started with a 5-2 home success against Kwanzas London Sport in the first round before coming through a derby clash with Leyton Royal in a 2-0 scoreline. The quarter finals saw them come through safely against Barkingside A in a 4-0 win before a comprehensive 6-1 semi-final success against promoted Frenford A confirmed their place in the final on Monday.

We look forward to welcoming both clubs and their spectators to the Breyer Group Stadium on Monday evening for this great occasion.
