When are matches played?
Matches are played on Saturday afternoons with 2.30pm kick off times (2.00pm when clocks go back). This is to allow for players who may have work commitments on a Saturday morning and falls in line with the traditional requirements at the higher levels.
What kind of ground will we need to play on?
We will happily accept most grounds provided that the quality of the pitch and changing facilities is of a good standard. We have clubs playing at a range of both privately-rented and local authority pitches across the area. We may ask to take a look at your proposed ground if it is not one we already use.
Can we use a 3G pitch?
Yes, we are happy to allow the use of a 3G pitch provided that it is approved for use by the FA and the regular kick-off time is in-line with the League's requirement. Of course, the changing facilities also have to meet the standards we outline.
I'm not sure what level we will be. What standard is the League?
We can certainly offer a standard of football that meets the needs of your team. It goes without saying that the Premier Division is a very strong division with a number of teams fielding players who have played or have the potential to play at a much higher level. The lower divisions present a better opportunity for sides that are newly formed or perhaps are less experienced in adult football such as sides moving up from youth football. We will happily set up some friendlies to give you an idea of the standard of each division.
How much does it cost to join the League?
All new clubs are required to lodge an entry fee/deposit of £100 at the time of application which is our way of being sure that you are serious about joining our League. You will of course get this back if, for any reason, we are unable to accept you into the League. The annual fees are £100 which is fully inclusive of all league and cup entry fees in addition to your first 25 player registrations. We don't make things complex by adding on lots of fees for other various different things!
